Ric Flair Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 So English football will finally get to see whther Lee Trundle is just a lower league journeymen or whether he can cut it at a decent level. I think he'll score 10-15 next season without a shadow of a doubt, but £1 million is big money for a soon to be 31 year old.

Depends how Bristol City get on I suppose. There really is some shit in this division next year, if we're not top half I will be most displeased.
Brainy Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I think he'll flop, especially in a poor Bristol City side.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I think he'll flop, especially in a poor Bristol City side. This is it though, I don't think Bristol City are that bad. But we shall see I said that about Southend and they went down.
Brainy Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Well they've got a better chance than S****horpe of staying up. Don't get me wrong there are worse teams in this division. Bristol City have been knocking on the door on the Championship for years and they haven't got in ( ) I just don't think Trundle can cut it at this level.
Blue Bob Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I am pleased for him, he works hard and scores plenty of goals. Shame no one took a chance on him earlier in his career.
The People's Hero Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Bristol City will drop. Unless of course Brian Tinnion makes a dramatic playing return.
Dr The Singh Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 The club does have alot of potential, I think they may survive, Trundle will do ok!!!
davieG Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 What league will Bristol be in? I eagerly await the day you come on here to ask us what you're mum is making for your tea.
Flynny Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Suprised no-one took a chance on him earlier, but as far as I know he's hardly the fastest of strikers, so age shouldn't affect his game to the extent that it does others. Might squeeze an extra season out of his legs compared to others. I can see him being a success, and given that Bristol City have been nearly promoted for about the last 6 seasons, it'd be a real shame if they went back down.
Simi Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 What league will Bristol be in? Why not use that tiny bit of common sense you have and look on the internet before once again proving the tool that you are.
Brainy Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Why not use that tiny bit of common sense you have and look on the internet before once again proving the tool that you are. Whats the point? He was told the answer nearly six hours ago. Grow up.
Steven Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Bristol City will drop.Unless of course Brian Tinnion makes a dramatic playing return. Didn't he hit the crossbar against us once?
NFFC Chris Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 I think Bristol City will be OK,they will do the best out of the promoted clubs imo.S****horpe will drop I think seeing as they have lost Sharpe and really have an average squad at the very best for the championship.Blackpool will struggle but may just stay up because they've signed the world class Gary Taylor Fletcher who of course will score 30 goals for them.
Geo V Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 He needs to haev good players around him. Ive always thought they he would be every good at the top level but I think its a few years to late for the big lad. TBH Im surprised he moved as I thought he`d end up like Le Tissier and stay at one club for most of his life without seeing how good he could have become elsewhere.

Ah yes thats right, we have him to look forward to next year as well, what a absloute bag of league on.............. I've just remebred I'm not suppose to slag off shit strikers who will be playing against us in the very near future. Tongue held.

Tongue held. Gary Taylor Fletcher is exactly the kind of sh itpot who will have the game of his life against us. (See Marcus Nygaard). We'll probably then splash out £600k on him and realise he's another Fenton/Cresswell etc.

We'll probably then splash out £600k on him and realise he's another Fenton/Cresswell etc. See Ricard Fuller, Barry Hayles, Micheal "Mr League Two" Bridges, as well. Seriously, it normally happens when I slag a player off, I left the likes of Nardeillo, Akinbiyi, Scowcroft, Kuqi and Dele Adebola alone last season and they were all shit against us and none of them scored (I don't think) Now I've spent the summer slagging Stephen Crainey off becuase someone suggested we should sign him (AHAHA) he will score a rocket past us, it's the way it works, I'm a jinx.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 I can't see them going down with Johnson there and I would bet good money they will finish above S****horpe, Barnsley and Colchester.
Brainy Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 He was merely offering him advice, that he should use the internet before making himself look like a fool.****. How many times do you think he's been told that? It's someone trying to act 'ard and funny, when now it's just old.

I don't want Barnsley to go down. They're one of the times I look out for. Does look as if they're doomed to struggle though.
