Leicester City player ratings

Recommended Posts

these ratings all seem rather high for a lost game, especially 8 for a striker when only 9 of 21 shots hit the target, and no goals...

or were we really just desperately unlucky and blackpool were just flukey?

:dunno:

I'd say we was unlucky, but Hume deserved an 8, which IMO is above average, or one of the better players.

Hendo - 5 (no communication with the defence - put us in trouble)

Chambers - 7.5

Mattock - 4.5 (I know he is young but he needs to learn to cross it without having to beat his man first!)

McAuley - 7

Bruno - 7.5

Newton - 6

Wesolowski - 5 (though out of position)

Clemence - 6

Kishishev - 5

De Vries - 7

Hume - 7

I thought Hayes looked very good today, ran after every bad, very good touch and very quick. MDV had a good game too, hit the post twice. Mattock didnt really have a good game, kept hoofing the ball out of play when under pressure when there were other options.

I thought Campbell looked a little off the pace today, wasnt reading Hume very well.

Newton had a good game, looked strong and had a bit of pace about him, kept running all match

Hendo - 6

Chambers - 6

Mattock - 4.5

McAuley - 7

Bruno - 5.5

Newton - 6.5

Wesolowski - 6

Clemence - 6

Kishishev - 5.5

De Vries - 6.5

Hume - 6.5

Subs

Hayes - 6.5/7

DJ - 6

Stearman - 6

Henderson - 5 - Lower league, inspires no confidence what so ever.

Chambers - 6 - Improvement on any previous right back of the last couple of years.

Mattock - 6 - As above, except left back.

N'Gotty - 6 - Pace worries, but did ok.

McAuley - 5 - Lower league or lower end CCC at best.

Wesolowski - 5 - Poor lad too good to leave out but not a wide player.

Newton - 5 - Still a poor mans Andy Impey.

Kishisev - 5 - Huffed and puffed and is better than Tiatto and Johnston in there.

Clemence - 5 - Bit disappointing but better than what we've had.

Hume - 6 - Runs around a bit but didn't score when he had chances.

de Vries - 6 - Worked hard but didn't score when he had chances.

Stearman - 5 - Try him alongside N'Gotty.

Campbell - 5 - Wasn't good but wasn't bad either.

Hayes - 6 - Not the answer to the left but better than anything we've had since Jordan Stewart (gulp!!!)

Harsh on McAuley, he was very solid along with Bruno imo.

The Captain and the Apprentice were the two worst players, Hume was the best.

The midfield was totally overun for the first 30 and matched for the next 30, we only gained control after they scored.

Really unlucky? The better team won for me. They wanted it more. Alot more.

We didn't have a fecking clue, long ball, long ball, long fecking ball in the first half! I am fuming...fecking waste of time...god know's what will happen when we come up against a team with some half decent finishers!

fook sake its one game. Yes we were poor, but come on dont go writing them off just yet! You cant turn a shit team into promotion/mid table team over night :frusty: No wonder were so poor if muppets like you just moan and dent their confidence! :@

Henderson - 5 - Very shaky, agree with Barton that he lacked confidence.

Chambers - 6 - Unfortunately got injured, I thought he did well.

McAuley - 6 - Got done for pace time to time

N Gotty - 7 - What he lacks in pace, he makes up with his knowledge of the game.

Mattock - 5 - Weak, panicked a lot.

Newton - 6 - Backwards !

Kish - 6 - Steady, little hurried.

Clemence - 6 - Didn't really do much, clever ball player.

Weso - 5 - He is just not a winger

Hume - 6 - Busy as usual, didn't get enough chances

De Vries - 6 - Still struggles in the air, did well when played to feet.

Mattock 5 Terrible game didnt do anything good really mistake led to the goal

Wesolowski 5.5 Quiet game made a couple of good runs thats about it

Kishishev 5 Lost the ball far to often was firdst man to come off

Clemence 5.5 See Kishishev just that he made a couple of decent passes

Newton 6.5 Was best midfielder good running

De Vries 5.5 Had one good shot that hit the bar couldnt win a header to save his life

Hume 6.5 Had a decent game contested every ball but never really produced the goods

Campbell 6.5 Looked lively almost scored twice but for the keeper
