The Reverend Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Fujiya & Miyagi - Transparent Things. The vocalist's voice is very relaxing i find. Quality chune though and a top album.

Guest Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Portishead - Third - Don't bother - It's shit. I went to see em the other night and i was pretty impressed with the new stuff to be honest, not heard the whole album yet but what they did live was quality
Daggers Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 (as much as it pains me to say so I was left disappointed myself) I went to see em the other night and i was pretty impressed with the new stuff to be honest, not heard the whole album yet but what they did live was quality I listened to them being interviewed on Radio 4 as I took the dog for a walk - and the efforts they have gone to just to divest themselves of a pop'y following is just inverted muso snobbery. That wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that they then just raided the back catalogue of Siouxsie & the Banshees. There's one tune there but the rest of it could really do with a solid make-over. So I stick with opinion one: Pretentious tosh.
