Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 At the moment for me I'm all about Borough Market on Saturday. Posh grub, then down the pub, then off to watch my football club. Next week I'm all about my Watford-supporting mate who I haven't seen for about five years. What are you getting involved in over the next couple of weeks?
General Smuts Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 Off to London on satdee to see a lot of my uni mates and properly celebrate my birthday with some high quality getting pissedness. That entail staying darn sarf with the missus for a few days on a blow up bed as she doesn't have one yet. Then its back to sunny Leicester to work as a labourer for my dad's mate for a few days as a favour (for which i shall be paid copiously ) then to my actual job Friday and Satdee. then to Live Chat it up during the Palace game What a jolly eventful life i lead.

Next weekend I might be off to France to see my mate who's working out there. Not sure yet though.
Simi Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 What are you getting involved in over the next couple of weeks? Simpons movie tomorrow! Palace Saturday! Poker next week, collect exam results on Thursday. Drown sorrows or celebrate exam results Thursday evening.

Next week I'm all about my Watford-supporting mate who I haven't seen for about five years. What are you getting involved in over the next couple of weeks? Good work mate - thats an excellent choice. All I can say is, go to the Chorizo burger stall. you may have to queue but its worth it. Half tempted to join you down there then get the train down to croydon from victoria. I live down in Wimbledon.
Geo V Posted 16 August 2007 Posted 16 August 2007 Im ina great situation at the moment where I have a free house for 2 weeks from today as the other wankertons are away on holiday. I intend on trying to get to know the two student lasses next door a bit better as they seem really nice and easy. Whether a filthy 35yo can get anywhere near the early 20s lasses is debatable although I will give it my best shot as they seem friendly enough (mixed signals by me but I`ll hear what I want to hear thanks ). My son is obviously on his school Hols so I plan on seeing him more often than the twice a week that I usually do and try and get that upto 4 times although going down to Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaf London is never a nice trip They`ll also be plenty of poker nights and entertaining as the plan is I want to relax at home for a while as I am getting too old for pubs and clubs, especially the clubs.

What are you getting involved in over the next couple of weeks? ahhh, i really miss borough market! i'm job hunting round Oslo, which is not the best experience, going to a gig tomorrow night, wedding in Larvik on saturday. and just for good measure i might inadvertantly piss TPH off... apparently this is his territory

As I'll be joining him though I'll be taking your advice on that Chorizo burger. I love chorizo. If you're keen get involved.

The People's Hero Posted 17 August 2007 Posted 17 August 2007 Pay day is a long way away (a massive eight days). Tonight will probably be spent trying to beg a part time job somewhere. I really don't know. I'm pretty down to be honest about all this having no money. I want to go to Palace and I want to get drunk and I want to sing about Iwan Roberts. I would also quite like to take my girlfriend out who has moved to an area she doesn't even know, tonight, but instead it's going to be sodding toast with perhaps a few beans poured on top. Again.

The People's Hero Posted 17 August 2007 Posted 17 August 2007 You should have bought a sensible car then! I haven't even driven it for a week - it's got no petrol.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 August 2007 Posted 17 August 2007 I haven't even driven it for a week - it's got no petrol. couldn't you syphon some out of your neighbours car.
Finnegan Posted 17 August 2007 Posted 17 August 2007 Thought you had no money to come Palace? The bank told me yesterday I can have £300! That's £300! An overdraft, obviously, but it tides me over until I get from job to job. It'll be a cheap night, there's a Goose and Granite in Wood Green that's the cheapest shit hole I've ever been in. Besides, it's a friend's birthday, can't refuse that.
