Tevez Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 We was shit end of, theirs more serious matters to be spoken about. Very Bizarre Scenes at half time.
Tevez Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Does anyone know why De Vries and Sergio Hellings were sitting with the away fans in Z block? haha I got a picture with Hellings, apperently De Vries wern't too happy about Forest fans.
davieG Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Just wondering what were your thoughts on our penalty shout, this is probably a completely biased view but i thought it was a stone wall penalty and couldnt belive it was'nt given. I'd have been very disappointed if the boot had been on the other foot, a very good shout. You also should have had a fee kick just to the left of the penalty area after Kenton pushed your guy off the ball whilst making no attempt to win the ball - Kenton was absolute garbage I just can't see what it is that got him a contract.
Peacefulred Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 if the penalty had been given it would have been a shocking decision , never a pen , honest 100% OPINIONholt was trying to go down before kenton got anywhere near I think any contact and Holt was going to go down because he does it no matter where he is on the pitch, me and my mate think he has Narcolepsy because its like he just randomly falls asleep on the floor. But i still think it was a penalty but whats happened has happened

Simi Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Kenton is a poor centre back. Every time he plays there he gets taken apart.
BigGibbo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Kenton is a poor centre back. Every time he plays there he gets taken apart. true story he is a right back though we need another centre back to cope with any sort of squad rotation system imo
Ultra Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 true storyhe is a right back though we need another centre back to cope with any sort of squad rotation system imo Stearman?
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 The Radio Leicester commentator and Gerry Taggart both thought it was a stick-on penalty. Yeah I thought it was stick on as well. We were just dreafull tonight.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 As to whether the game should have gone on or not, I feel that it was made worse because it happened in the dressing rooms presumably in front of everyone, and they all would have known the severity of the situation. If it had've happened on the pitch, it may have been unclear to an extent as to the nature of the injury... he would have been treated / subbed and the game would have continued. So these Forest twats who are saying it should have continued are just thinking about their scoreline and obviously not the nature of the situation.

Forest Cheif Exec said the City players were in no fit state to carry on after what they saw.So that would suggest they were all around the incident.
Dames Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Yeah I thought it was stick on as well.We were just dreafull tonight. We really was. Henderson was really poor tonight. So was Porter and Newton.

I think most forest fans agree it was the right decision to call the game off and naturally we are frustrated but know that the players health and safety come before a game of football.

Yeah bloody oath, that footage of Puerta was bad enough, having that happen to a team mate in front of you with defibs and all would be disturbing to say the least.
Thracian Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 We didn't play well tbh and 1st 25-30 mins forest always looked like scoring, it was no surprise to me when they did!Still dont think the goal would have happened if McAuley an or Fulop were in the side, McAuley would have maybe got it away whereas Fulop may have taken it being very good in my opinion at crosses. we defenately missed De Vries, we seemed to have no 2nd option, Levi and Newton looked poor, and again our main attacking threat came from Chambers for the right and alsowesolowski through the middle. Don't see the Hume / DJ partnership working, we need a big man up there MDV/Cort and if it means going long occasionally then so be it Tonight's team selection was an insult to everyone who bought a ticket. Six changes, a change of system, short of attacking threat, no creativity in midfield, a slow and unfamiliar back line. And now we'll have to make another stack of changes for Saturday's match. Tinkerman has nothing on our guy? We had perhaps three performers out of 11 and the blame for that goes to Allen. Allen -2 (+15 overall) for picking an indefensible team and for only being saved from a licking by the special circumstances of the evening.

I can only think of Chambers, and er, that's it. As Roy Keane would say "fail to prepare, prepare to fail". There's certainly no way that Leicester side was prepared for that match. Hopefully it'll be a different story whenever and wherever it next takes the field.

We took 5300 fans tonight and you expect him to think fair play lets win it for the fans and give it are best effort. He played a crap team tonight. Henderson ?!! What was he doing when they scored ? He just flapped like a dolphin. Tell you what, Im not going again unless Allen takes it serious.

Mad Dog strikes me as a man who learns from mistakes. So if we get to play the replay we will not be seeing that team that took to the field tonight.

Tommeh Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Erm perhaps Fulop isn't allowed to play in Cups? But Clarke was

Henderson worries me, I could do better than him between the sticks. Resting a lot of players after saturdays result was a bad idea. Forest destroyed us, it hurts me to say it. We were unbelieveably unlucky to get away with the pentalty appeil aswell. For me that was a stick on peno. Mad Dog needs to sort it out
potter3 Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 But Clarke was Yeah it's down to the two clubs as to whether hes allowed to play in Cups or not
