I bought myself a nice 23inch monitor for my office/laundry room which makes it much easier to post to FT!

You really can't complain with that view though.wow Edited by cambridgefox

I work at home in my laundry. I can't tell you what I'd give to be distracted at work by a girl wearing a short skirt. Pics please.

It's not short, just one of those shapely, crepe type ones. Immense figure.

You can be distracted by porn and cook bacon sandwiches, I'm sure you're fine :P

Similar news, just heard a very good mate from college has died in a car accident last week, funeral tomorrow morning.

Put a real downer on what was going to be a brilliant day.

Sorry to hear that Matt..

i went in a shop and had my waist measured.

And the mystery is solved.

Except, he then went to some pubs and Sainsbury's. So, unless he 'bunged' his pockets full of cash he must have had it to buy stuff?

And this is why i'm not a detective.

Sorry to hear of the tragic news. Just shows yet again that the health of those closest to you is the most important thing in life. It's a cliché I suppose, but true.

My news seems trivial now. My money belt cards etc. turned up. It had dropped off in the Slug. I had already cancelled the cards so will have to wait for the new one. After 5 minutes one of the barmen came across with my mobile. It had fallen out of the bag. The zip was open when it was given to me.

Tried to order a ticket for the QPR game. I know some people who are going but don't know exactly where their seats are only West stand near the dug ou. They have prices for up to 59 (£39) and 65 + (33) but not 60-64.

Cheers guys, appreciate the love.

Today's been quite a tough day, just trying to keep everything positive and be here for her.

Hope the day can get better when we pick up another 3 points tonight.

That's bad luck Matt. Sorry for your lost.

We lost touch since early 20's but still affected me today and I had a little cry.

We were thick as thieves between the ages of 16-19. Ran the gambling, punting at college and he was the drinking buddy from going from boy to man with me. Great shame.

Really sorry about your loss. It's a strange feeling someone dying that you used to be good friends with but hadn't seen for years. A guy I knew through my best mate died in a car crash a few years ago. All of us used to be out most weekends together in our early 20's, he was a real character. Funny thing was I only knew of him as Spongebob, I read the story in the mercury where they used his real name and didn't actually realise it was him at first until my mate rang me. Upset me a bit and like you had a little cry.

Thanks guys, kind words are appreciated. It is a lot weirder than usual when a guy dies who you knew well a while back but lost touch with, hard to explain almost.

A big plus of tonight was I met Marko from this forum in the 1884 bar who recognised me, a lovely gentlemen and a pleasure to share a conversation with.
