Managed to make myself look like a complete and total retard twice in succession in town earlier.

Not sure what was worse, trying to put my pin in the chip and pin machine whilst my card was sat a foot away on the counter or the mess I made of trying to tie laces in Schuh.

I'm usually the complete and total opposite of dippy. I pay attention, I'm quick in and out of shops, hate hold-ups, hate faff. But Jesus my brain is not on the right way round today. What a twat.

Decent.

Got my promotion at work, getting to run the cutting dept now!

Can't wait for the first day I go down onto the shopfloor in a shirt and trousers! lol

Only downside is that I've got to do backshift for 2 months while I train the new line leader!

Wet. Went out for a hour at lunch. On the way out I picked up a bin bag to put in the bin and I thought I had picked up a plastic shopping bag as well containg my E-reader and other stuff. I was on London road when I found I had not got it so thought i had left it in the hall before going out. Got back and looked in the bin and there it was. Good job the bin men don't come today.

Also bought a book. The Non-beardy beer guide. It's a review of the beers not found in real ale books lagers etc amostly bottled and foreign done in a humorous way. Found it in a charity shop and as I was going for a pint I don't like sitting alone in a pub staring at nothing. i like to do or read something.

Play.com have really pissed me off today.

Bought a phone off them 1 day ago and was looking to forward to receiving my first smartphone. I was waiting for the dispatched email to come through, instead they sent me a 'security check email.' At first I thought it was a scam but after searching it on the net, turns out Play do it all the time when you deliver to a new address that you haven't used before.

Anyway, the security check asked me to ring up their customer services, after trying to get through numerous times throughout the day to avail, I decided to cancel my order and order the same phone on Amazon. Had no problems with them, its arriving tommorow!

But Play have gone down in my books.

Plus, was held up with people asking me to do things at work that 'couldn't wait' I didn't get the chance to do the stuff I needed to do. Out of the office tommorow, it will have to wait until Monday. Garrrrggghh.

3 15pm and the next 45minutes of the working week is going to go sooooo slow.

Did make 15 of those motivational posters using 15 different photos of a mate all are taking the piss out of him. He is coming down from Sydney and were having a party and not many people know him so we are going to stick them around the house so people quickly learn who he is and make him feel uncomfortable at the same time.

Lucky you Tom, I've got another week worth of lectures. However we've got a Christmas do next Tuesday and I'm informed by a couple of second years that, a) the lecturers are very funny when drunk & b) there may be a chance to "cream pie" the lecturers if the students win the quiz.

Needless to say I'm looking forward to that.

I really need to go out and do things, but the sight of the weather outside my window is making it impossible. Don't understand how I seem to have turned into a southern softie despite being brought up in Scotland, living in Manchester for over a year, and never living further south than Leicester...

I'm going to poison your food for singing in the shower at 6 in the morning

I live with very cheerful people. :glare:

More importantly, I've been informed of a free Christmas dinner today and it's my day off.

Went for a fitness assessment at the jobcentre. All that happent the list of jobs that I may not be able to do grew longer. They still want me to find work despite what I did there is not much about. My contribution based JSA ends at the end of the month. Other weeks I was told it would automatically switch to Income based. Yesterday I was told I had to claim again so have to fill it in and hope its processed before xmas.

Ok.In todays post was a letter from the NHS after a screening for B.C. giving the all clear.

Also finished completing the form needed to switch over fro JSA contributory based to income based. Based on nothing coming in and little in the way of savings in it should be approved..

2.4 Million of my generation unemployed whilst I get a call at my work placement today(whilst taking a week off from my actual job) saying I have been head hunted for a job that I have absolutely no intention of taking and never would of even considered applying for... always nice to be thought of though :).

So thats being offered a job, whilst at a job whilst away from my actual job.... Thats a big **** you to unemployment in my book.
