demon_dog Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Hi,Ho,Hi, Ho, it's off to the city we go. Roll on Saturday. What team would you put out for the game? I'd want to keep things the same as we did well against Watford and thought it was a good away point last week. My only concern is that Kisnorbo does not get back till Friday from Aussie. Think he may not play due to jetlag. Otherwise keep things as they were.
DB11 Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 The only places I am sure of is Fulop in goal N'Gotty to play right back or center defence if Kisnorbo is jet lagged Hume ARM / right striker Clemence in the middle
SamL Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Fulop Chambers Mcauley N'Gotty Mattock Hume Ferraira Clemence Weso Dj Cort
Rossatron Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 The only places I am sure of is Fulop in goal N'Gotty to play right back or center defence if Kisnorbo is jet lagged Hume ARM / right striker Clemence in the middle this team would take a heavy defeat with only 4 starters
Unabomber Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I would play --------------Fulop--------------- Kaebi N'Gotty Kisnorbo Chambers Hume Clemence Wesolowski Ferreira ----------DJ---------Cort---------- Subs: Henderson Djeziri Fryatt McAuely Newton
Rossatron Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Fulop Kaebi N Gotty Kisnorbo Mattock Hume Clemence Wesolowski Ferreira DJ Fryatt Subs Mcauley, Sheehan, De vries, Henderson, Djezeri
Ashley Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Will Leicester play Chelsea Dagger when we score?
Unabomber Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Will Leicester play Chelsea Dagger when we score? Good point I think we will unless Allen had patented it, which is impossible as more or less every other club plays it nowadays.
Ashley Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Good point I think we will unless Allen had patented it, which is impossible as more or less every other club plays it nowadays. I like it tho its good to see the whole ground jumping around to the song

Unabomber Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I like it tho its good to see the whole ground jumping around to the song Yeah I don't mind it, it's just a bit of fun and like you say gets most of the ground jumping.
escape2victory Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Nearly the same mate Year i just think Fryatt deserves his chance now. By all accounts he is putting in some good reserve performances. Im not DeVries's biggest fan but i still think he deserves to be ahead of Cort in the pecking order. Would keep Kaabi on the bench for now. Let him find his feet off the field and gradually bring him into it, and Hume deserves another outing on the right.
Simon Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 It's certainly getting tough to pick the team now... Fulop Chambers N'Gotty Kisnorbo Sheehan Kaebi Weso Clemence Ferreira De Vries Hume Bench: Hendo, McAuley, DJ, Cort, Djiziri

With Cort I just think that he has that bit of quality and has more chance of scoring, but it was a fairly close toss up between him and DeVries. With Kaebi I just think we need abit of excitement going forward, and I think we should start attacking and really go at QPR from the off, he could then be brought off if we gain a comfortable lead and want a more defensive approach. Anyway whoever actually chooses the team has quite a tough decision.

Mark Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 ----------------- Fulop Chambers N'Gotty Kisnorbo Mattock Hume Clemence Wesolowski Ferreira ----------- Campbell Fryatt Subs: Henderson, Kaebi, Stearman, Djiziri, De Vries
Bryn Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Hmm, tricky. At least one from Hume, Campbell, De Vries, Ferreira and Kaebi is going to miss out. I think I'd go with; Fulop Chambers N'Gotty Kisnorbo MattockKaebi Wesolowski Clemence HumeDe Vries Campbell Subs; Henderson, McAuley, Kishishev, Ferreira, Fryatt If Campbell is ineffectual, Fryatt to come on up front. Would like to see Ferreira get a run out.
Thracian Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Fulop; Chambers, N'Gotty, Stearman, Sheehan; Kaebi, Wesolowski, Clemence, Porter; Hume, Fryatt. Subs: McAuley, King, Newton, DeVries, Campbell.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Fulop N'Gotty Mcauley Kisnorbo Sheehan Hume Clemence Wesolowski Ferriera De Vries Fryatt Henderson, Kaebi, King, Dj, Chambers

demon_dog Posted 11 September 2007 Author Posted 11 September 2007 I see everyone is putting Kisnorbo into the team. As I stated in my post, he flies back from Aussie on Friday so may be suffering from jet lag. So maybe a bit of a reshuffle, I'd like to see Kaebi play, see if he's got the pace we so badly need.

I just commented on the Kisnorbo thread but the game is over against Argentina and maybe the OS meant he`d be back from training for Friday but should actually be back in England before hand?

From the Mercury; Kisnorbo, who is in the Australia squad for their home game against Argentina, will not arrive back at the Walkers Stadium until Friday afternoon. Hope your right, feel we would miss him for this game. When is the match, Wed night, so that would be Wed morning to us? So plane back Wed night, so back for Thurs night. Still not sure he'd be awake.
