Kilworthfox Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 LLANELLI DOUBLE SIGNING Be the first reader to comment on this story 09:00 - 13 September 2007 Llanelli clinched two major signings before the Welsh Premier soccer deadline - ex-Wales duo Matthew Jones and Andy Legg.Former Leeds and Leicester City midfielder Jones was forced to retire from the game three years ago. The 27-year-old won 13 caps before back and knee injuries cut his career short. He has signed on non-contract terms for his hometown club after being given the all clear to play again. ''I have missed the game so much and to have the opportunity to play again is wonderful," said Jones. Legg returns to Llanelli for his third stint. The 41-year-old resigned as manager of Blue Square North side Hucknall Town last week and quickly sealed a return to the Reds. He played a part in Friday night's 5-1 win at Llangefni and although based in Nottingham, Legg does not expect travel issues to disrupt his plans. Chris Barneylink

MPH Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 all the breast to him, he was dead unlucky with injury for us, bet itd be nice to get back into the action get boobies off your mind, Karlos....
The People's Hero Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 I love it when the kids on here talk about boobies. It's the equivalent of me talking about the time I went in to space or when I helped Europe to their first ever win to nothing in the Ryder Cup. Or when Ultra was talking about that young girl that wasn't physically sickened and repulsed by the sight of him.
ASH17LCFC Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 Some great news at last ... No more jones on the radio THANK GOD
Matt Posted 13 September 2007 Posted 13 September 2007 Good luck to the lad, I always thought he was great, a real prospect and was becoming one of my favorite players at the time until he got injured (obviously)
AyewJoking Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Sorry but why did Jones retire in the first place? Was he told he would never play again or just never at a high level?
