No doubt Ferreira and Kaebi will be playing. Disgraceful really given their stature in the game, they should walk in to our first team. Especially how they played for the ressies last week. I'm disturbed that neither are troubling our first team at present, what's up with our coaches?

Totally agree Ric, not seeing them in the side is really frustrating me, i personally feel we are yet to see our best side.

When i arrived at Forest yesterday i was delighted to at least see Ferriera warming up, disappointed he wasn't starting, extremely annoyed when Chambers was bought on to replace a midfielder and i couldn't believe it when he bought Stearman on when chasing a game. (yes i know he scored)

Hopefully another week of Megson seeing them in training he will see what they're all about.

I was thinking the same but I think that they dont know what to do with Hume so play him as a sort of a right-midfielder as that allows them to play both a target man and DJ. The Ferreira one is a little stranger as none of the left wingers who have featured from Levi to Hayes, Mattock to Sheehan have performed consistently well to keep there place. Sheehan seems to be growing into the role and can defend a bit so maybe its safer to play him ahead of Ferreira who may not be so good running back? Im guessing here but it may also have something to do with match fitness?

Lets hope Kaebi and Ferreira do enough to press for a starting berth on Saturday but i fear that they are too attacking to both play with the current players. I don't think Megson will be brave enough to field all these attacking players in the same side.

I doubt they will play tonight AND on Saturday.

Maybe the reason they have not been in the first team as yet is because GM hasn't seen them play??

How is Mckay and Sappleton getting in regularly and not Billy Kee? He is out scoring them with ease! The amount of goals he has scored is him saying the standard he is playing at is too easy so he should be given more of a chance at a higher standard!Agreed?

Again another one of our acadamy players are being over hyped.

Keep him in the u18's this season and see if he can make the step up next.

HUGHES WITHDRAWN FROM RESERVES

Posted on: Wed 19 Sep 2007

Striker Lee Hughes is out of tonight's reserve game against Leicester City (KO 7pm).

Hughes, 31, was originally named in the starting line-up for the Bower Fold clash but was withdrawn by boss John Sheridan prior to the squad's departure.

Hughes picked up a slight knock in training and has been rested with Saturday's crucial game at Walsall in mind.

However first teamers Reuben Hazell, JP Kalala and Michael Ricketts all play. Oldhamathletic.co.uk will be carrying a full report later this evening.

Not necessarily. He looked pretty raw when he played for the Reserves recently. He still has things to learn yet and I am quite sure it is right that he be given time to learn them and to develop steadily rather than all of a rush.

wouldn't be surprised if the midfield lines up r-l: ferriera - newton/king - hellings

seems to be a lot of speculation that ferreira is the answer to the LM position but, by all accounts he is definately not a left winger :dunno:
