syston_fox Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I wouldnt change last night for much right now!!
Jack Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I wouldnt change last night for much right now!! That Makes two of us
JoeyB Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I wouldnt change last night for much right now!! That Makes two of us 3 of us! Who voted for 3 points and a loss? own up!!!
Bryn Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think down the line I will think the 3 points. But then if I'd have been to the game against Forest I'd think differently, it's nights like that that make football worth watching.
Unabomber Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 What's 3 points compared to one of the most memorable matches of your life. Yeah I voted the second option.
Joe. Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I know last night was brilliant but I can't help but think what 3 points would have meant against QPR. I think the league is more important than beating your rivals to be honest.
Lillehamring Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 i think last night will do more for spirit and togetherness in the long run, and can't imagine they will be TOO disappointed with a point to QPR... and the unbeaten run grows....
mkingy Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 QPR is fixable as we have a good deal of the season to make up for it. Losing to Forest isn't as they'll hopefully never reach the heights of our division again (assuming we never get relegated )
Tommeh Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Last night, anyday. So we only one point at home to QPR, a season is 46 games a cup is 1 game loosed your out, win you carry one. I love our club for every 10 depressing games scraping points and not exactly thrilling us fans we'll have a night like yesterday, it was brilliant.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Last night, anyday. So we only one point at home to QPR, a season is 46 games a cup is 1 game loosed your out, win you carry one. I love our club for every 10 depressing games scraping points and not exactly thrilling us fans we'll have a night like yesterday, it was brilliant. Spot on. Wouldn't have given up last night even for two wins in the league. You don't get that feeling from beating Blackpool or QPR at home. Even the Watford game didn't come close.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 The other thing you've got to remember is that the point of going to football is for nights like last night. Even if we got promoted I can't imagine the winning goal feeling that much better than Clemence's did to me last night. That might just be me personally having seen us throw away so many chances of beating Forest away but still... it was special.
Churchill Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 im not sure because 3 points against QPR would of ment 6th place but tuesday night as got to top it off .... great result
Koke Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Last night was simply amazing and its one of those nights you wouldn't change for anything. The manner in we beat them was just special. Give me a night like Forest any day than 3 points against QP fooking R.
Kilworthfox Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Last night was simply amazing and its one of those nights you wouldn't change for anything. The manner in we beat them was just special. Give me a night like Forest any day than 3 points against QP fooking R. I personally would like to trade in my current life for a split of being Gazza 15 years ago and then swoosh back to now to become Jennifer Elison's Favourite G-string, but unfortuneately my Delorian's flux capacitor is broken Oh yeah and I would not change a thing about Tuesday for a win last satdi
Geo V Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 The dropped points at QPR seemed even worse when they got dicked again in midweek, this time at home but the Forest win was pleasing just to break a hoodoo and beat a club which is so up its own ar$e that they don't think we are rivals. I just hope we can take these games that we are dominating by the scruff of the neck and start converting winning positions into the 3 points we deserved, like against QPR and Palace.
Thracian Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Both. But I'd have suffered defeat easier against Forest than the draw against QPR cos we voluntarily surrendered that and there was no damned excuse whatsoever.
The Stig Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 If at the end of the season we finish two points off the playoffs having lost this game then let forest beat us!
Smiffy Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 I'd take the 3 points. The only way I get to watch City is when we play a premiership side and its on the box. So for me...anything that betters our chances of promotion. Would've loved to see their faces in injury time, though!!
lee7 Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 1 point against QPR and the win against forest for me.
Dames Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 If at the end of the season we finish two points off the playoffs having lost this game then let forest beat us! Then we end up losing in the play offs anyway. Tbh if we go up its got to be convincing. I don't wanna end up like the Derby's and the Watfords of present times. I'd rather be finishing in the top end of the championship than that.
