Got a feeling we'll be seeing a selection enough to make grown men cry in to their already watered down Carlsberg's. Megson's likely team.

Fulop

Maybury

N'Gotty

Kisnorbo

Mattock

Chambers

Stearman

Clemence ©

Sheehan

Fryatt

Hume

Subs: McAuley, Kenton, Kishishev, Henderson, Cort

If Maybury gets back into the starting 11, I'll bomb the entire fooking training ground.

I think Megson will go for this:

Fulop

Stearman

N'Gotty

Kisnorbo

Mattock

Hume

Chambers :nono:

Clemence

Sheehan

Fryatt

De Vries

Probably not too far away with that, Ric.

Only I doubt he'll play Maybury.

Doubt or hope..?

I think Kish might get a start too.

Knowing we are going to get mullered down the flanks, any chance of a 3-5-2???

Just to ease the pain a little..

I have the evening planned out already.

8pm turn on game

8.45pm turn off when 3-0 down go and play football, have a few beers come back, put ceefax on, se we've lost 6-0. Laugh, sleep.

I don't actually care who we field anymore. Villa, at Villa park. This could be heavy.

S'what I like to see - belief in our team. ;)

Miracles have happened before and we must be due one...

We were all saying this at the same time last year and we ran them close.

At home, in front of one of the most vociferous crowds we've had down there for several years. Completely different story this time round i'm afraid.

Agree.

I also concur with Milky Joe's prophecy. It'll be a five-man midfield with De Vries up front. To be honest as long as Kaebi is in the 16 then I'll be happy.

I won't be happy.

Oh no, it was just a casual remark.

We're definitely getting stuffed on Wednesday.

Its a worry that we have no geniuine pace in our team, especailly at the back. Agbonlahor and Young will think its Christmas come early.

a-hem! *cough*

I think I mentioned a 3-5-2 before MJ mentioned packing the mid and one-up.

Ok, so there is a difference, but it's a small one.

Credit where it's due....

Nils managed to defend against Agbonlahor last season and he has no pace. One of his best games for us. It was all down to getting a tackle in early and not giving any space.

And we've got one of the fastest footballers on the planet (TM Fifa website) playing right-back in our reserves.

Even if we lose 8-0, seeing Kaebi karate kick Ashley Young in the face would be worth the entrance fee alone.

.....Personally, I'd consider the differnce between 3-5-2 and 4-5-1, to be absloutley massive.

But then what do I know. :dunno:
