Dames Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Well at least this was settled now. Wish i went so i could laugh at some of our fans though.
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 So afterall this, still no news on the no showing of Hossein Kaebi. Fook you all.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 i cant understand the furor about his departure and the 'martyr' like image this guy now has. someone even compared him to o'neill in the mercury the other day The comparison is insane. They might both be intense characters, but MON is one of the most intelligent people in the game, and I saw little evidence of considered thought and analysis on MA's part, just a lot of rhetoric and tough talking. Which is probably why a lot of our lot liked him so much
The People's Hero Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Ultra gives it the big one on here and then in the space of a week 1) Doesn't say a word on the train, despite threatening at least 2 of those present with a verbal massacre and physical violence. 2) Makes the effort to go and see anti-christ, killer of this club, 'several other mis-informed, fabricated and offensive labels' chairman and despite all the vitriolic nonsense, threats and 'big me' stuff Ultra has posted, he says nothing. All mouth and no trousers Ultra. Ugly bugger too.
Thracian Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Sounds like one fan should have gone with a good sample list of questions and given MM the chance to answer them fully and without interruption instead of having umpteen fans all trying to get their word in. The sort of thing a good journo should be doing really, if MM would play ball.

eaststandtom Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 4 players were brought to the club by Allen or his agent. Nielsen, Kishishev, Sappleton (and Best guess would be Campbell)Allen was sacked for non footballing reasons if milan is able to say this then what on earth went on that we dont know about!!! dodgy dealings?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 But there were also other times where the chav himself was aggressive, especially when describing Allen as "arrogant". I wasn't impressed. Are you a mindreader? If so, you're wasted on here. Many of those who attended the meeting were passive throughout and it would be impossible to gauge their true thoughts. There were also many things which the chairman did NOT explain, such as exactly when he felt relations with Allen had become irretrievable. A statement which was made in the full knowledge Allen wouldn't be around to explain the context. There may have been valid reasons why he treated Fryatt the way he did (fitness/attitude issues?). When rumours of this act were aired at the time the reactions towards Allen weren't entirely unfavourable. A very illuminating point, one of the few we had tonight. After what has happened in the past both here and at Portsmouth I'd have thought the chairman would have been a little more circumspect in his dealings with agents. ..And therefore before the Forest match too. when was this information conveyed to the players? Easy to say in hindsight now. The first game was won, the second was far from irretrievable and the third was generally considered to be a decent result and certainly better than performances under Levein and Kelly at Selhurst Park. That goes without saying, given the chairman's previous track record. That observation wasn't rocket science. Easy to see why Mandaric should claim credit. No mention of Ferreira or Djeziri though, or indeed of the entire Don Mackay episode. Was he the one who said MM was "the best chairman in the club's history"? If so it was brown-nosing of the worst order, especially as it's unsupported by fact. Since the takeover in March we've won just THREE league games out of eighteen. Some of those who hogged the mike made Bernie look like Brain of Britain! Just seen the report of the meeting on Sky Sports News. They seem to be even more in Mandaric's pocket than the Mercury is! So to summarise, you approached the meeting with an open mind and didn't seek to denigrate Mandaric at every tiny little opportunity?

Geo V Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 I went and laughed for half of it, the two muppets on the front were comical! "What disturbed me was that DeVries wasn't on the bench on Wednesday" HaHa Did anyone film any of it on their mobiles, for comedy purposes? From what I can read it seems that the muppet brigade turned up to represent the fans that wanted a bit of a moan. I wonder what MM will come out and say he though of the night?
The People's Hero Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 It is with some consternation that I note that my tea cup hath run dry and that the fridge offers cool cool storage for no further milk. Alas, without tea I must continue my wretched journey through this morning.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 I'm convinced we have a higher proportion of morons in our fanbase than any other club in the world. These events are always an absolute joke.
