Thracian Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Pity he didn't realise everyone else wanted first team football too - and that one decent game in a couple of months was hardly likely to endear him to anyone. The cuttings about his signing should be framed up a la MA to hang on the chairman's office as a warning about the foolishness of the club not checking players out properly for themselves. I'm just a layman but I reckon I could have saved MM a middle-sized fortune this close season on rash signings - and so could any regular fan. If you were cruel you could work it out but it would be counter productive and right now the club can do with all the unity it can muster, especially with a match coming up tomorrow.

He's made about four brilliant saves in his entire career at Leicester so far - all of em for the Reserves against Wolves Reserves at Telford. Ironically if he had opened up with a home match like that he'd have had every fan picking him for our first team - instead of just threequarters - and folk would have been enquiring how we kept got him ahead of some big club. It all showed him to be an excellent shot stopper. It was the rest of the goalkeeper's art that seemed to be missing on other days. And it would seem all his hopes disappeared with the signing of Fulop cos he's been the biggest plus of the season so far.
