teblin Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 MARCUS WATSON signs as a professional player for LEICESTER CITY of the English Championship League. On His clubs site!
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Might even be looking at him to step straight up. He's 18, you'd expect a kid with plenty of talent to be making strides towards the first team by the time they are 18-19, especially when the first team isn't that special.Manwell seems to think this kid might be touted as something special, so we might be seeing the lad sooner than most. It might be him. It probabley isn't. He's probabley another Segio Hellings.

Molson Canadian Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 i see has not represented the united states in any way at youth levels. His g.p.a average is 2.0 a C average so that means no decent university football teams in the united states would select him unless he had freddy adu ability and they ignore your g.p.a. He has a good list of accomplishments, who knows maybe he will be one for the future!

Molson Canadian Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 i'm also suprised that he has not been brought into any american team mls system. Most boys by his age if their good enough they have been seleted to play in mls academy's teams or feeder clubs.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 October 2007 Posted 4 October 2007 Haven't heard of this kid, sounds like a good prospect but I'd rather we'd chase recognisable loanees instead of signing toddlers.
Charnwood Norris Posted 5 October 2007 Posted 5 October 2007 Kid? he's 18. He's also 6'1" which isn't really a kiddy height (like anything below 5'8"). We could do with some stature in midfield; Weso, Kaebi and Hayes are all wee nippers and will never be megaliths in the air, esp. when playing Mego's 'hoofball'. Could be a chum-up/cheer up partner for Hellings, they're both black.

Not a cool statement. Think before posting. I'm sure it lacks "intent" though could be construed as inappropriate.
