maddog Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Right now Talking about managerial departures, what is this all about? Always have to be in the media don't you Milan
brookfox Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Right now Bloody hell Milan, you've not sacked Megson already have you?!
maddog Posted 9 October 2007 Author Posted 9 October 2007 He's still talking: 'It's crucial, it's most important nowadays' Milan on the importance of relationship between chairman and manager
Brainy Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Right nowTalking about managerial departures, what is this all about? Always have to be in the media don't you Milan Were you against him taking over?
Monk Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Its tuesday, he must be bored and looking to stir up some rumours...
maddog Posted 9 October 2007 Author Posted 9 October 2007 Were you against him taking over? Yes i just loved the days of Craig Levein me
davieG Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 Were you against him taking over? What difference does that make?
Brainy Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 What difference does that make? I asked as there's always something Milan is doing wrong.
davieG Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 I asked as there's always something Milan is doing wrong. Err no there isn't there is sometimes when someone or other, not necessarily the same person comments on his activities. Exaggeration is not fact.
harpendenfox Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 The media loves Milan because he isn't afraid to speak his mind. More power to his elbow I say. At least he doesn't spout the sanitised garbage we hear week in, week out from most people connected with football. You know the kind of thing, a penetrating question from Garth Crooks along the lines of 'you must be pleased with the 3-0 win' to which the response will be ' yeah, all credit to the lads...." I like it. It means the media is interested in Leicester City.
Thracian Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 In many ways I don't give a shit what he says - I never know whether to believe him anyway. It's what he does that counts. And it seems a bit ironic that since he did something outstandingly decent - the Nottingham Forest gesture - that (Charlton apart) things seem to have started picking up for the club. Coincidence, I'm sure. But, for me, that was the major moment of his leadership so far.
Geo V Posted 9 October 2007 Posted 9 October 2007 He is an ideal filler on progammes like SSN when there isnt much to talk about or much happening. For me his presence in the media isn't really a negative thing as it keeps the clubs profile going and anyway, its not like he is calling SSN to say he wants to talk is it??! Or is it?
Alexikokopops Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 And it seems a bit ironic that since he did something outstandingly decent - the Nottingham Forest gesture - that (Charlton apart) things seem to have started picking up for the club. No, it's just coincidence. If he'd done something that intended to harm the club and it lead to things picking up for the club then that would be irony.
Phube Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Well Megson has just won his first League game... and there's an International break!!! If I were Megson, I'd be worried!!!
Strokes Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Bloody hell Milan, you've not sacked Megson already have you?! No such luck
Jimmy Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 for all the criticism of megson we do have the best defensive record in the league, considering how shit we have been in that department since O'Neill left that's some achievement
