FilboFox Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 We've got a long running history in the Under 21's and now Andy King has joined that list of players who have got the initial international call-ups! Great news... but what other youngsters stand out as stars of the future for you at City or not that we should perhaps get...

hairy Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 You dont think he got a call up because the match is at the Walkers similar to Big Trev a few years back at Filbo? Anyone else going on Friday?
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 You dont think he got a call up because the match is at the Walkers similar to Big Trev a few years back at Filbo?Anyone else going on Friday? King is Welsh. It's England who are playing at The Walkers on Friday.
Messi Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Alan Sheehan Joe Mattock If anyone they would be the mosty likely
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 I'm pretty sure Maxi Gradel will be being looked at by the Ivory Coast Under 21's very shortly.
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 King is Welsh. It's England who are playing at The Walkers on Friday. Depends how you define Welsh, as he was born in England, he is what I like to call, not actually Welsh. Like Ben Thatcher.
Mark Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Possible potential star of the future in the U16's, a lad called Jorrin John I think that's very highly thought of.
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Depends how you define Welsh, as he was born in England, he is what I like to call, not actually Welsh.Like Ben Thatcher. Either way, he'll not be at The Walkers on Friday unless he;s forgot his boots and has to make a quick dash for them. He'll be Captain for the Welsh fairly soon, it doesn't take a lot to get in to their National team. But congratulations anyway, Andy.
Kent Fox Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Depends how you define Welsh, as he was born in England, he is what I like to call, not actually Welsh.Like Ben Thatcher. And Ryan Giggs.
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Possible potential star of the future in the U16's, a lad called Jorrin John I think that's very highly thought of. There's also a Portuguese lad in the Under 15/16's who's meant to be special. No idea of his name though.
Thracian Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Possible potential star of the future in the U16's, a lad called Jorrin John I think that's very highly thought of. Billy Kee can hardly help being noticed if he carries on scoring at current rates. Then there's Billy McKay, Riccy Sappleton, the perhaps underrated Ryan Beswick, Ashley Chambers and in time, perhaps lesser knowns like Lee Cox and Lathaniel Rowe-Turner. I first saw Lee at Sunderland in the Academy play-offs final when he was one of our best players against tough opposition. Rowe-Turner is still raw. But, unusually at Leicester, where so many players seem a bit lightweight, he's big, fast, strong and skillful. If he has the same application as someone like Eric Odhaimbo - another possible under 21 candidate of course - then he could make rapid progress.
Guest Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Depends how you define Welsh, as he was born in England, he is what I like to call, not actually Welsh.Like Ben Thatcher. Exactly, Sir Fynwy tries to claim he's English on some technicality like his parents being English.

Milky Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Alan SheehanJoe Mattock If anyone they would be the mosty likely Sheehan is Irish mate.
oO RUSTYNAIL Oo Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 I highly rate Lathanial Rowe Turner, as you said Thrac, he's big and strong. Also one of my mates went to the same school with him and he ran them shitless, also seen him play against Oadby Town, in the Second half, is solid in the air

FilboFox Posted 10 October 2007 Author Posted 10 October 2007 No, thats Ricky. Can't we have two of them... a double Emile Heskey up front! That sounds good!
