Kent Fox Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 ..for my dad. I won't be at the game but will try and find coverage somewhere. I request that you all sing your hearts out for the boys tonight for 90 minutes. Why? Because I lost my dad yesterday to a short and sudden cancer. He would have loved this game! Come on, guys, for Leicester, me and my dad - sing your ****ing hearts out. I'll be listening. Thanks.
davieG Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Commiseration's, I lost my brother to prostate cancer a 2 months ago so know how you feel.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Consider it done. My thoughts are with you. The good thing about Leicester City in games like this is that whatever team we put out, they always give 100% and the fans will respond tonight.

Thanks. sorry to hear that it's a horrible thing to go through I lost my own dad 7years ago to cancer he had beaten it five years previous and had the all clear it then came back stronger than before and within 3months he was gone. My thoughts are with you as I know what you are going through it was one of the toughest times of my life for other reasons as well. my dad was the sole reason I became a Leicester fan I don't have any other connections to Leicester and I often think he would have loved this for big games like todays so I will do my best for you!!

It appears the boys did us proud last night. My Dad would have been very chuffed with the result of that and the fact we came soooo close. He would have ranted on about the first team to score past Chelski in 400-odd minutes, THREE times! I can picture him smiling very smugly. Thanks for your efforts, guys, and again for the kind words
