Mort Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Proud... all that needs to be said. PS: DJ > Fryatt.
DBEightyFive Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 At least it took Chelsea to bring out their big guns to beat us. Dead proud, brings back some of the lost pride from the Sheff Utd and S****horpe matches
WetFlannel Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 i think we would have won with clem, weso and huuuume
demon_dog Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Who needs a manager? We play better without one. Well done lads.
ForestFilbert Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 For once I can walk into my office tomorrow, head held high, chest puffed out and say.........I'm a bloody Leicester City fan. Sod off my fellow colleagues, you glory hunters!!!!
Bryn Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 (G) Marton Fulop 21 (D) James Chambers 2 (D) Darren Kenton 28 (D) Patrick Kisnorbo 3 (D) Gareth McAuley 5 (D) Bruno N'Gotty 4 (D) Alan Sheehan 16 (D) Richard Stearman 17 (M) Shaun Newton 11 (S) Carl Cort 9 (S) Matt Fryatt 12 rofl @ 7 (D)s. And yet we score 3...
Stuliasz Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Fantastic performance from the sounds of it, dreadfully unlucky, and very envious of those who went.
NorthernFox Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 I can hold my head up high at work tomorrow with the mags & mackems and the lads have reinstilled some pride in the team. We must be the team that loses the most goals in the last five minutes EVER!! Heartbreaker but Proud at the same time.
JoeyB Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 We should of won! you dont really expect to score 3 against Chelsea and not come away with a win! imagine if we had tho' like favorites for the trophy
WetFlannel Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 (G) Marton Fulop 21(D) James Chambers 2 (D) Darren Kenton 28 (D) Patrick Kisnorbo 3 (D) Gareth McAuley 5 (D) Bruno N'Gotty 4 (D) Alan Sheehan 16 (D) Richard Stearman 17 (M) Shaun Newton 11 (S) Carl Cort 9 (S) Matt Fryatt 12 rofl @ 7 (D)s. Jonezy Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Absolutely brilliant!!! I'm so proud.... We had Kenton in midfield for f**ks sake, they had Lampard!!!! Magnificent!!
B195 Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 It shows what the team can do. We need to translate that type of performance to the league. I suppose it is harder to get your self up for a game with S****horpe, but that is what they are paid to do. any how well done lads, going some way to bringing some pride back to City
MPH Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 " WE'RE PROUD OF YOU, WE'RE PROUD OF YOU , WE'RE PROUD OF YOU, WE'RE PROUD!!!"
Simon Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Fooking proud of the lads tonight. Three goals? Against Chelsea? Fook me!
purpleronnie Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 The sad thing was even at 3-2 I didn't think we'd win. Not just because it was Chelski because we still can't kill games off. But that said I'm pleased for the fans who travelled and proud of the players it is a huge gap in class even with chelski not putting their best team out, so I can't be too dissapointed.
City Lad Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 I could have put this in the Chelsea chat thread but they deserve its own thread. If it was'nt for a harsh last min goal, he would still be listening/watching the game. Well played lads. Plenty to be proud of!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Great effort considering chelsea paid more for Shev than MM paid for LCFC
Filberts lovechild Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 So close, sounds like we did well though, gutted I didn't go! Frank Burrows for boss anyone?
dhermon Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Feel gutted but yet feel very very proud at the same time will be able to chat to my mates at cricket training tonight with a hell of alot of pride and on a side note every time we have lost a game this season we have followed it with a win
Flexx Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 I can't think of a premiership club to score 3 goals at Stamford Bridge. This game had fulham written all over it when we were 3-2 up. shame!
spencfox79 Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Well done the lads we gave are best and nearly pulled of a shock lets take stock from this result and push on from here
