dandannieldanok Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Great night, great atmosphere, terrible seats at the back of the lower tier. Players did us proud and so did the fans, the abuse at Fat Frank when he took a couple of corners was great
Finnegan Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 We got to London wayyyy to early so we had to kill time somehow. Er. Soho?
BigGibbo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Er. Soho? That was on our timetable although we did take an unfortunate turn down a road full of ladyboys & queens

BigGibbo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Our navigation was limited. On the way out of the tube there was a quality little thing that looked like a rubber machine which dispensed maps for only two quid, was our saviour that

BigGibbo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 He knows! Ah that makes sense then Raji do you partake in any cross dressing like those lovely eeerm ladies? in soho
lcfc_jme Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Marton Fulop - the man is an absolute beast of a 'keeper. Had it not been for him last night Chelsea would easily have had 8. He should be regarded as a definite purchase in January, really. Awesome. Chambers - he's no midfielder, not by any means, but his engine and workrate is exceptional. Suspect passing at times, but made up for it by getting behind the ball when required and steaming forward to try and support the limited attacks we had. Cort - who the fook drugged him up last night?! He looked like the target-man we've been needing for a long time. Causing trouble for their centre-backs all night, winning the ball in the air, holding it up, using his strength and playing people in. His control and touches were tidy as well for the most part. It'd be lovely to see him replicate that form in the league, 'cos like, if he did he'd be near-untouchable down here. Somehow I doubt it though. Porter - hyped to death by Thracian but failed to produce consistently, but made a real difference when he came on imo. Looked lively, ran at the defence and possessed that creativity we'd been crying out for. He effectively bought us two goals when he came on - the chip for DJ's goal was immense and he won the freekick which led to Corts goal. Splendid stuff all round, but I thought those players were worthy of an extended mention.

Even old Avram Grant said 'The Leicester Goalie had a very good game and made some very good saves' (Or words to that effect!)
BigGibbo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 i look niceeee in suspenders! Im sure you do
Leonisco Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Absolutely amazing. Probably the best game I've ever been to. I can remember when Cort scored I tripped over and nearly got crushed! Madness. So proud of the lads, the effort they put in was fantastic. Fulop was absolutely immense, it's strange giving him man of the match when he conceded four goals but if it weren't for him they could have had about 10. Special mention for Chambers who ran his arse off all night, and Cort who never gave their defence a moment's peace. WELL DONE LADS!!! Did anyone get Cort's goal on video? I think Flynny did, ask him when he comes online.
Leicester Lass Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Did anyone get Cort's goal on video? I did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hmAcLerrmA
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I did.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hmAcLerrmA One of the arms in the air is probably mine at the end there! :D
Matt Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 So proud, So close but yet so far, but what a great night, what an atmosphere. Amazing. So I've said it before and i'll say it again, We play a big team, We raise our game, Come on City I say same team for Saturday and if we're poor or lose, No excuse really (Oh apart from that old chestnut of Megson's that the players were "tired") Proud to be a Leicester fan, And although there's nothing we could do injuries happen, and I hope he's ok but I beleive if Levi didn't get injured there wouldn't have been the injury time and we would have won, but hey ho, Proud to be a Leicester fan, One of the best or potentially most memorable Leicester matches i've seen.

I take it you're proud?
Matt Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I take it you're proud? VERY Proud! Unbelievebly Proud! Was amazing! Just can't imagine what i'd be like if we had actually won! Was quite funny taking the piss out of my mate who's a Chelsea "fan" "Yeah but we played our second squad" - Fuk off did they fair enough the exception of one or two players but it was fairly strong, and one that could beat most Premiership teams. I just kept chanting "Where were you? Where were you? Where were you when you were shit" He stuggle to catch me out or keep me quite today, Even though we lost, even though we're out of the cup, It felt like we'd won, It was truly our F.A Cup Final. As I said though if we lose or play poor (Mainly play poor) on Saturday it will take alot of the shine of last night, I know we can't win every game, I know the players get tired and probably put more effort in last night than they do in the league (Precisely my point), and I know we can't play as well as we did last night week in week out, but to be honest they don't have to much of an excuse, for Saturday now or the rest of the season atleast, We have seen them play well a few times now, We can play well, We can be a hard team to beat, and we can score goals, If we play like we did last night we'll be "up there" by the end of the season. C'mon City, we've all said it many times this season and the past few season's but our season starts here, I'm not going to get carried away but we need to start something sooner or later!
Bert Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 The players they had out were: Cech JT Carvalho A Cole J Cole Drogba Makelele. Off the top of my head. That team would easily finish top 4 in the prem that played last night.

Exactly, As I said the Chelsea fan was struggling to keep me quiet today, I was still running on the adrenaline from last night. I think to be honest he knew Chelsea were poor (Well not poor, but were struggling abit) and was very worried they were going to lose the game but he was just trying to wind me up and get a reaction, Sorry but as far as it goes with last night that's never gonna happen
Chairman of the Bored Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 All this and Sergio Hellings on the bench. Is there no end to the miracle?
