I can't remember that far back in football when it is so insignificant... I have better things to think about unlike some!

Also, Villa was this season... Kelly wasn't there then so what are you talking about? Did we play them last year?

... do you actually follow Leicester at all? Or just check the odd score?

Just got home, gutted but proud tonight. Didn't expect that result and we gave them a run for their millions.

Yeah great stuff eh?

Essien's transfer price is probably worth more than the whole Leicester team! lol

Follow them with a passion... although when you live in Belgium, you don't get the chance to see many of their games  ... aside from being able to follow them on the net and on TV as often as physically possible, I have tried to be as involved as possible whilst also preparing for uni, getting revision done for IB exams at the end of the last school year and organising loans and national insurance numbers before moving here at the end of this September past...

Like I said... I have many other things to think about such as the work load that I now get at uni now... perhaps slightly more important than retaining information of who was in charge of a 3-2 win over Tottenham last year don't you think!!! :glare:

Unforunately living afar I had to rely on the espn gamecast to keep me informed of the action this morning.

Here is my day...

-Woke up at 6am for McAuleys goal...LA LA LA LA! :)

-Spat my breakfast all over the computer when fat frank hit back with a double.

-Ventured into work and loaded up my laptop and sat watching the little yellow dots pile up all over the Leicester goal mouth...oh dear

-Suddenly a red ringed black dot appeared with Campbells name all over it....FOOK YEAH!!

-Suddenly another dot with Corts name displayed...CLOUD NINE! :worship:

-Prepared my mornings work as Shev slotted the equaliser...FLAT.

-Sat down in time to fear the worst...fat frank hit his third...GUTTED.

I must admit that i felt the candy had well and truely been swiped from the babies hand, yet I cannot hold back the pride I felt to see how hard Chelski had to work for the win. I had reservations at the start of the game that we wouldn't get close after they hammered Man City, but Leicester played like I have never seen before...well tracked anyway. If only we had Clem, Hume and Weso.

Leicester City Players, Managers, Coaching staff, and the travelling supporters that were are Stamford Bridge...I AM EVER SO PROUD of your efforts, well done

Lets journey back from colchester with 3 points on the weekend and prove it was no fluke!

Cheers mate, I missed the meeting at the Tavern for the Scunny game due to a knee injury I suffered at cricket that day. Doubt I will get the early bird up for this Sunday morning as I have a 21st the night before but will definately tune in. Can you believe the mate's (21st) is a Bristol City supporter...fook haven't I heard enough from him this year! :frusty:

Got back about 20 minutes ago.

F**k me that was incredible. Totally lost for words. Haven't got a clue about player ratings, tactics, a review of the game, anything. Shit I can't even remember who played.

Fantastic support, particularly at the start and throughout the second half.

Exhausted, drained, in disbelief that I witnessed another 4-3 defeat, but above all extremely proud. That game will go down in folklore.

Just to add to what I said last night. Well, sitting at my desk this morning I'm still in shock. Still so proud of the team and the fans. F**k me the fans. So reminiscent of the Fulham game, this probably topped that though, especially towards the end of the game. Amazing singing. Drowned out 35,000 Chelsea "fans"? - probably.

We even got a mention in the Telegraph report today - "Leicester fans thronged the Shed end to raucous effect" - or something like that.

Anyway onwards and upwards I say. Results like this can bring teams tighter together, I hope it has that effect. That said, I'm not entirely confident about Saturday. Might be emotionally and physically drained. Bit like me.

He forgot for a minute it was Chelsea V's a Championship team. :D

I noticed that, heard whispers of a handball.

Phil Dowd never has been a ref famed for his common sense or reading of the game though.

Just back myself.

So proud.

The singing on the tube full of Chelsea fans afterwards was bloody brilliant.

Especially the 12 Days Of Christmas with Ian Ormondroyd.

FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE ORMONDROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYDS

You sang it on the way back as well??? Hilarious.

Great effort, abit more composer and organisation in defence and we could have won it!!

Would more singing have made that much difference ;):D

From my position on the halfway line I would say that apart from in imediate aftermath of the Chelsea goals, and for a quiet patch in the first half after Frank's first two, the city fans certainly did most of the singing. Sounded truly awesome at times... And the old "Same old Chelsea always cheating" had some fans near me seriously riled at one point :)

Comedy moment of the Chelsea singing was 10 seconds after giving it the "we'll follow the Chelsea Over land and sea.. and Leciester! Frank got his second and they started singing Who are ya! Genius ;)

fans were terrfic, all of them. and who says when we take big numbers away it dies down? i think we did our club proud last night. the scoreline and the way the scoring went couldnt have been better.

better than Fulham last year. Cort had a very good game and Kenton did really well. anyone else convinced Mayburys volley was about to rip the net open for 4-4? if only....

Top stuff, and one of the few times I've been genuinely excited at a city game for years. The celebrations for all our goals were mental.

I wasn't upset at the outcome in the slightest because it would have been a miracle if we'd held on because the gulf in class was pretty obvious, even though the lads gave it their all. I had money on City to win - just a bit of fun - and even when we went ahead for a second time it didn't even cross my mind that it might come in.

Great occasion. I cannot imagine the Chelsea team and fans get scares like that too often
