Zingari Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 The Muslim Council of Britain reacted angrily to the news, saying it was "appalled" and demanded Mrs Gibbons' immediate release. "This is a disgraceful decision and defies common sense. There was clearly no intention on the part of the teacher to deliberately insult the Islamic faith," said Secretary-General Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari, in a strongly-worded statement.
Daggers Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 She is a stupid, insensitive twat. Looking that fat deserves a 40 lashes by itself. She was living in a devout Muslim country, she should have been more culturally aware. She didn't. **** her.

In that devout muslim country are there not men named Muhammad who turn out to be murderers, rapists etc...? Should their parents be lashed for naming them Muhammad ??? The Muslim Council Of Britain says"it is appauled' at the decision ..Are they wrong too??? Its all just madness anyway.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 How come Muslims are allowed to call their sons Mohammed?
Raj Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 How come Muslims are allowed to call their sons Mohammed? Is this a joke Fez?? Like a sort of knock knock type thing???
Daggers Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 How come Muslims are allowed to call their sons Mohammed? If anyone plans on answering this I also have a problem working out how come non-Muslims are allowed to call their sons Kevin, Brian and/or Stanley?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 If anyone plans on answering this I also have a problem working out how come non-Muslims are allowed to call their sons Kevin, Brian and/or Stanley? I'm serious. If you said you were the Prophet Mohammad I'm sure a few of them would get a bit uppity, start burning flags left, right and centre. But you're allowed to be called Mohammad. But call a teddy bear Mohammad and again, flag-burning, chanting, general disquiet, it's not like she called it the Prophet Mohammad. If it was such a sacred name they'd retire it like Wayne Gretzky's shirt number.
Daggers Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 If it was such a sacred name they'd retire it like Wayne Gretzky's shirt number. Like what we did with *coughdrugproblemcough* Elvis?
