Blue Bob Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 Blimey talk about chinese whispers!!! There is no way that this will have a points deduction for Leicester City - the worst we can expect is Milan gets fined (so less for Ollie to spend) or he gets banged up and has to run his football empire from inside. This seems to be a criminal investigation not an FA one so points deductions are unlikely ( sorry Leeds fan !!!). If the FA decided to take action it would be against Portsmouth and this would seem unlikely due to the time the offence was comitted. Worse case senario could Milan be banned from owning a football club????? Anyone know??? That is of course if he is found guilty of something!! Free Falling Foxes Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 Everything is falling into place now: MA sacked because he stumbled on MMs dodgy dealings & was forced into signing a confidentiality clause or else he would 'disappear'. GM also found something out and got out quick. All those (crap) summer signings were lining someones pockets. MMs 3 year plan reduced to 1 year so he would be able to attend promotion party before being 'banged-up'. Consequencies are: MMs assets seized. MM deported We are forced into administration. Deducted 15 points. Relegated. Forced into ground share arrangement with Friar Lane Old Boys. And worst of all.....................The trees, sheep & Plymouth fans will love this. The Stig Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 Why the fock did they make Dream Team and Harchester United? Why did they have to pay actors?Surly the could just make a running documentary on Leicester City Football Club?! Exactly what I was going to say, if this was made in to a soap opera it would be axed for being too unrealistic. I would be very surprised if this had anything to do with us but, it's just the fact that he's the chairman for god's sake. Finally we stop all the turmoil with the revolving managers door and now this happens. I used to want city to get more media attention, now I just want us to be a nice quiet club, who slowly but surely improves with a rich chairman and half decent gaffer. Fat chance. FFF Sorry - a little pessimistic there. I've had a re-think: MM found innocent. Sues everyone - awarded millions in damages. Ploughs all that cash into LCFC. We dominate english football for years. Thats better. FFF

Cheese Me Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 According to BBC news Redknapp has been released and said he was questioned and that was the end of it. Hope that means there's no case against Milan either - not just that they can't pin anything on Harry

Cheese Me Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 I seem to remember his paying off stadium "loan" was part of the deal to buy the club in the first place I feel sorry for Holloway tbh... he isn't likely to be getting any spending money come January No I don't think so. Think he said it wasn't an efficient use of capital (probaby rightly) and we'd repay in when (if) we get promoted.

bluefox82 Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 supporting leicester really is like a season of dream team might wear my harchester shirt to saturdays match!!! was hoping once we go holloway we would have a quiet season and push for promotion but that aint going to happen!!!! i dont think anything will happen to us as it is a police investigation rather than the stevens enquiry so that leeds fan is talking out is a**e wants to put more effort in supporting his own club and that little w$£*er of a manager they have! just been on skysports news redknapp has been released maybe milan will turn up on sat handcuffed and a police escort!!!!!! Thracian Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 I do not like thee Dr Fell, the reasons why I cannot tell..." How appropriate those words seem now. Cos even if any enquiries/investigation/whatever proves entirely groundless, which I well imagine, the whole affair is hardly likely to bathe Leicester City in glorious publicity. Any more than the Martin Allen "parting". To think though ... Mike Newell was one of my preferred managers!
Yaxx Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 What a load of bollocks. Instead of wasting valuable police time and resources on this sort of shit, how about they get their priorities right and start arresting the corrupt ****ers in our government instead. Nope I disagree, if they can stop corruption in football they should, although yes they should take a look at the government.

Wycombe Fox Posted 28 November 2007 Share Posted 28 November 2007 From www.skysports.com Redknapp also confirmed that Milan Mandaric and Peter Storrie were arrested. Redknapp and Storrie's solicitor, Paul Martin, reiterated Redknapp's comments. "They have been assisting the police with their inquiries," he said. "The inquiries do not relate to either of those individuals. They relate to entirely different individuals. Thank **** for that!
