Tommy G Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 I dpon't think he will win unfortunately, I want him to nonetheless. Maywether is a cocky cvnt. Trouble is that Hatton cuts easily and that could be his downfall. And maybe the amount of beer he consumes between fights...
Jack Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Really looking forward to this Should be a cracking fight, Mayweather is a cocky cnut but can back it up with the way he fights. I'd love to see Hatton win, I believe he can do it aswell, although it wont be easy at all. This will most probably go all the way to the end but both of them have an ability to end the match with one punch if either make a mistake. Come on Ricky !
Samilktray Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Probably going to go against the majority with this one but i prefer Mayweather Cant stand Hatton!
Raj Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Hatton has to get into him early if he will have any chance. The longer the fight progresses the more it will favour Mayweather. Rickys big shots could play a part but so could his bad misfortune to cut easily. It will be like a Tyson v Muhammad Ali type fight!(I know they never fought ecah other,im just giving an example!!) Good luck to him!
Alexikokopops Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 I think he's going to punch him big time.
Durnerz Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Mayweathers very adaptable to any type of fighter but i'm hoping it will be a Rocky vs Apollo type match where Hatton will win it with pure work rate, heart and a big punch to finish it.

Erm...you do realise that the Apollo v Rocky fight WAS NOT real!!!!
Super Arj Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 as much as i hate to admit it i reckon mayweather will win he keeps himself in great shape and only improves ricky keeps eating and gettin pissed... when he should be tranin hard for the biggest fight of his life
Daz.I Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Big boxing fan quite knowledgeable about the sport and love it dearly, first mayweathers absolutely brilliant so fast and strong he doesn't have a signature punch but shows so many different dimensions with his boxing he shows this with his record of 39-0 he's not going to be a push over make no illusions. Hattons been in hard training and he says He's never been fitter and never been stronger and I honestly believe this he's a honest guy and has no reason to lie , his body shots are utter brilliance and maweather will soon find out a few of them are going to slow him down drastically he has a little more experience with a record of 42-0, maywetaher claims he has fought nobodies which is a bit harsh. never the less he's still 42-0. finally for my personal opinion, I honestly believe hatton will show up on the night and really shock mayweather as he under estimatede ricky which is not a clever thing to do. Ricky has everything to gain and nothing to lose. he has the heart of a lion and I think he's gonna bring the titles back to England and show that cocky yank that he does deserve to be in the ring with the best in the world he's earnt it.. so let's all us Hatton fans watch the fight and will him on as the picture says...Come On Hatton
Tommy G Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 as much as i hate to admit iti reckon mayweather will win he keeps himself in great shape and only improves ricky keeps eating and gettin pissed... when he should be tranin hard for the biggest fight of his life I agree, Think Mayweather will do him im afraid. Hatton cuts so easily son the ref could stop the fight early on. Best not do, the game will cost of box office. Any idea how much it is? £14?

But I can't see Ricky winning, points to Mayweather I say, he's just to fast.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Should be an awesome fight i wont it to go the distance. But Kosta Tszhu will always be the king

Staf Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 It would make my year if Hatton won but i really cant see it
Daz.I Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 so it's just me who thinks hatton will win it's all a bit easy to sit there and say he's too fast people if some-ones gonne beat him why can't hatton De La Hoya took mayweather all the way and hatton can better that.

I geniunely think that Hatton can win. Mayweather and his team have made a big mistake by underestimating Hatton and by saying all he is, is a good club fighter, but Hatton is much better than that. Come Saturday night Hatton will soon show Mayweather what he is all about
Hugo Sanchez Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Really looking forward to this fight and i think it will meet all expectation. Hatton has been immense in training and really knows this his is time to shine on the big stage. Mayweather is a awesome fighter and will try and go for the whole 12 rounds. Where Ricky be looking for his big shots to slow Mayweather down. I'm gonna pay for this fight because after it was announced. I have been really looking forward to watching it. If Hatton wins, Oscar De La Hoya will be wanting one big last match and that itself would be another classic. CMON HATTON !
Ultra Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I agree, Think Mayweather will do him im afraid. Hatton cuts so easily son the ref could stop the fight early on. Best not do, the game will cost of box office. Any idea how much it is? £14? £14.95. Bit much for a fight which doesn't start until 3am Sunday morning. Hatton's best chance is in the early rounds. If it goes on longer there's a danger that Mayweather will cut him up and win on a stoppage.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 December 2007 Posted 5 December 2007 What a shot. He is still KING, KING i tell you King
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 December 2007 Posted 5 December 2007 You can tell somepeople posting here have never seen Floyd Mayweather fight. The longer it goes on the worse it is for Hatton?? Bollocks! Mayweather tires, he often takes his foot off the gas for a couple of rounds around the 8,9 mark. Hatton can gets better as fights wear on.
Geo V Posted 5 December 2007 Posted 5 December 2007 Hatton can win! Maywaether is class but he has been hurt by body shots in the past and if RH digs his heels in and whacks him continuously in the ribcage he will slow FM down IMO and can dominate the fight. My only worry about Hatton is that despite him being an amazing trainer, they way he lets his body go in-between fights does worry me. To have to lose that weight all the time cant be healthy on his body but lets hope we see him at his very best for this one.
