On a cold Christmas morn'

In a war-torn town

Some children huddle to keep warm

They have asked for no presents

No toys of fun

Just for the gift of life

And the silencing of the gun.

Chrismas time... Mistletoe and Wine,

Children singing Christian ryhmes,

With logs on the fire and gifts on the tree...

It's time to rejoice in the good that we see!!!

Yes, we should. But this poem is aimed at this time of year because of the mountain of presents and food received and given out. For any other time of the year different words would be used.

This was a reply to The Sings post.

While sickly songs like that are about people wont think about the other side of things.

Sound better than being forced to play a PS3.

I've just bought my mate a goat for Christmas from Oxfam. He'll never see it (unless he goes to Africa) but someone's going to get more out of it than he would have done on some other crap costing £25.

Unless they just kill it and eat it, of course. Do goats taste nice? I dunno

Goats make great lovers!

A well intentioned gift could result in some sort of unholy union between man and beast leading to the birth of some disgusting goat man hybrid, a true aberation in the sight of God.

It's what my mate would have wanted
