Manwell Pablo Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Calm down people, Hendo is more than good enough to fill his gloves, this is the least of our problems. :w00t: :w00t:

wirralsimon Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Calm down people, Hendo is more than good enough to fill his gloves, this is the least of our problems. My nomination for funniest post of the week!
Big Time Charlies Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Sure it's dissapointing to lose Fulop - he's a talented player but we do have other keepers - it's not like he was our only one. From the article it sounds like Keane wanted to recall him to give him some first team experience, I seriously doubt he'd do it just to spite Leicester!! It's amazing how quickly the doom and gloom merchants jump on this!! For goodness sakes people lets have a bit of faith in our team - it's December, we've got a talented young manager in charge, a wealthy passionate chairman, the January transfer window is coming round. It's all to play for chaps, we're not down by a long shot.

davieG Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Calm down people, Hendo is more than good enough to fill his gloves, this is the least of our problems. Well his gloves may fit but that's about all! :w00t: :w00t: My nomination for funniest post of the week! He wasn't being serious it was just his way of cheering up the depressed LCFC fan, wasn't it daniel?

Am I right in saying we sold Comrad Conrad?

OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Can this source be relied on tho?? Fulop is on the back of the Merc today rallying the troops FFS.
James. Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 I'll always be grateful for what he has done for the club. And I really think he would have wanted to stay, it's out of his hands. This is shit news though. He was our best player and he looked like he actually cared. We'll not just miss his saves, we'll miss his presence and the undoubtedly positive influence he would have had on the team as a whole. Step up Hendo.
Dames Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Can this source be relied on tho?? Fulop is on the back of the Merc today rallying the troops FFS. That was done yesterday. The recall was done today. It wouldn't be the first time this season we end up with egg on our face.
Brainy Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Can this source be relied on tho?? Fulop is on the back of the Merc today rallying the troops FFS. Thats what I was thinking. Nothing has yet been confirmed on the Sunderland OS nor Leicester's.
Jay Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 thats it with Henderson in goal we are well and truly f**ked!!!
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 'Hendersons unbeatable' doesn't quite have the same ring....
Dames Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Thats what I was thinking.Nothing has yet been confirmed on the Sunderland OS nor Leicester's. Our OS wouldn't bother telling us. They would just remove him from the squad list.
Brainy Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 They would just remove him from the squad list. True.
Big Time Charlies Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Well said. Thank you As Emilio Estevez said in the classic film Young Guns 'There's many a slip 'tween a cup and a lip' (or it could have been in Young Guns 2, I forget now - both great films)
