James. Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 My dad and I got given a stadium tour for Christmas by my sister. Unfortunately Wembley wasn't included. I've already done a tour of Anfield. I'm drawn to Old Trafford. Where would YOU go?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I Did Lords by sneaking in it was pretty easy to sneak in past the merchandise shop got plenty of good photos I would love to do Twickenham
Zingari Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 as a footie fan old trafford would seem to hold more historical relevance and interest
SamL Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I'd probably go for the Emirates because I've been to Old Trafford and Anfield before. Also, it might be easier for you to go to one of the London grounds because thats where you live unless you wanted to travel around and make a day of it
Ultra Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 as a footie fan old trafford would seem to hold more historical relevance and interest To fans perhaps - not to the owners who just want to fleece visitors for every penny. From a football perspective Anfield would be better. But from an overall sports perspective Twickenham would be the best choice.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I reckon Anfield would be the most interesting out of that lot.
Asha Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Emirates would be interesting - new stadium and so forth.
James. Posted 27 December 2007 Author Posted 27 December 2007 Emirates would be interesting - new stadium and so forth. Yeah Emirates is tempting, it's the easiest to get to for me and it is very nice and shiny and new and stuff. Only downside is I went there for the Brazil Argentina game during the summer. Already done Anfield so Old Trafford would probably be best bet in terms of history and all that.
Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 None of the above. Leave him, he takes his hate towards anything English a little to far. I'd go for Old Trafford.
Nath Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I strongly advise a tour of Nou Camp. Brilliant. It's a place you don't want to miss out on.

WetFlannel Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I've seen Liverpool play at Anfield... it was brilliant, in the Kop aswell
James. Posted 27 December 2007 Author Posted 27 December 2007 I have a feeling the Nou Camp isn't included in the package... Yes, that is correct. I admire your logic. As an aside apes ahem I have done the Nou Camp tour and it was indeed rather good. Even if the stadium does look like a mutli-storey car park from the outside.
Joe. Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I'd say Old Trafford. Liverpool's stadium, although great on a matchday, isn't anything special to be honest. Old Trafford is a ground that's always appealed to me, hopefully get there one day to watch City. Aside from those above, I'd love to visit the Nou Camp.
WetFlannel Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Liverpool's stadium, although great on a matchday, isn't anything special to be honest. would still be good to take in some of the history surrounding the club... besides, its not going to be around a lot longer due to their new stadium, so i think it would be worth having a look
Matt Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I've been round Old Trafford, was pretty good, was quite young when I went (When I was a United fan ...Then I saw the light and started following Leicester ) so can't remember that much from it. It's not a choice but i'd like to go round Stamford Bridge, I love that Stadium (After our cup game there )
Head Honcho Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Surely the Lords tour is going to be the best? ....................if you like cricket that is
DB11 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I've been Old Trafford and Anfield (and more but only those 2 on the list) so I would choose the Emirates Though if you haven't been to any, I would strongly recommend you check out Old Trafford!
Jack Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I've done Old Trafford. I'd go for Anfield or Emirates.
lildave3 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Toss up between Old Trafford and Anfield. Anfield possibly just to see their trophy cabinet.
Samilktray Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Leave him, he takes his hate towards anything English a little to far. I'd go for Old Trafford. Missed out on that Old Trafford last time didnt you
