I only started this due to lildave reacting like Kissa is a god when I suggested using him in a swap deal to get Fulop

Kisnorbo is a good championship centre half but no more , Fulop has the potential to play in the premiership and i reckon we would have 5/6 points less if it hadnt have been for him but still a tough call to decide who is more important . i will plump for fulop

A goalkeeper is the first line of attack and last line of defence. Without a good goalkeeper a team is weak. A defender can be covered by the other outfield players a goalkeeper can't.

If you bget my point.

Therefore I vote Fulop!

I don't think theres any question that Fulop is more important. As for acting like Kissa is a god, I don't. I just think he's been good for us, and I don't think a straight swap would be a good idea.

Fulop can make the step up to the Premiership - Kisnorbo can't.

Personally I could see them both playing for lower league Premiership teams. I think you could argue McCauley do you a job as well.

We've had Gilchrist and Watts before. Didn't they both play Premier League?

Bit of a shifty poll, but whatever.

Fulop most definitely though. He's still very young and already managed to prove that he is a top class keeper at this level and I'm sure that he would be no mug in the Premiership.

Kisnorbo is a very good player for us but I feel he'd be exposed in the top flight, his inability to pass the ball out of defence consistently will cause us so many problems in the future.

Fulop.

How many goals has Fulop scored this season????

none, but he's kept out many more that Hendo wouldn't then Kissa has scored

I think the Premiership has moved on since then technically. Kisnorbo and McAuley both find it a task to keep posession in the Championship - I dread to think what they would be like in the Premiership!

That's not really how I'd judge how good a goalie is?!?

Kisnorbo is a good championship centre back. Fulop could definitely be a first team goalkeeper for a lower half premiership club. Therefore it would cost more money to replace Fulop with someone of the same quality, and the alternative to Fulop is worse than the alternative to Kisnorbo. We have plenty of half decent defenders and only one decent goalkeeper. Fulop is more crucial.

Oh yes, most certainely.

I just think you'd see our defenders in a better light if we had a better midfield, so they aren't forced to go long.

Maybe, but both look uncomfortable on the ball irrespective of that.

I also feel they wouldn't be able to cope with the pace and movement of Premiership strikers.

They couldn't cope with the pace and movement of Paddy McCarthy, ipso facto they couldn't cope with Prem strikers!

Defensively they'd do okay. I know what you mean about off the ball, passing, moving etc I'd just like to reserve my judgement on that until I'd seen them play with better people.

Not that we marked Chelsea's strikers that well.

Fulop's the more valuable player, but Kisnorbo is slightly more important to us how we play at the moment, so I can't decide. Kisnorbo mops up all over the place and his awareness is spot on. McAuley and N'Gotty are good players but Kisnorbo is faster, stronger, and more aware than them both and I'm confident he'd step up to lower Premiership level with ease.

Fulop is a fooking good keeper, but we're hardly a team who lets our goal get peppered with shots.

If we lost Kisnorbo, I think Fulop would become more important, but they're both players we shouldn't be losing under any circumstances and could form the nucleus of a rebuilt squad if we went up.

I said Fulop as he has a higher resale value being relatively that much better.

A good goalkeeper is the foundations of a good team.

Even if you have a poor team but have a good goalkeeper you can still win games. Fulop's a very important player for us, probably the most important in the whole squad I'd go as far to say.

Absolutely.

He'll be worth ten points to whichever team signs him - hence the high price tag.

This is a test of our club's ambition, and one which it must not fail.

Fulop, as the alternative (Hendo) is terrible.

However we aren't goint to pay three million for him so we may as well move on, good as he is he isn't the only good goalkeeper in the world.
