Buy some midfielders you f**king c**ts.

I was listening to people sing "Leicester til I die" today wondering how I'm going to cope on my deathbed knowing how much time and money I have wasted on these f**king idiots.

Getting destroyed by a team like QPR is f**king embarrassing.

Last year atr Loftus Road we had Kelly in charge and about six players who were f**king knackered from doing 120 minutes against Villa days beforehand and we still drew 1-1 with a load of shite in the team.

We're actually going down this season if you don't buy some f**king midfielders.

F**k off.

C**ts.

Didn't we win 3-2 at their place last season with a reasonably late goal. I agree with everything else you say. I've been worried in previous seasons but I'm pretty petrified at the moment.

EDIT - 3-2 was the season before wasn't it. Just remembered.

lol Whoever just pinned this actually made me laugh, which I didn't think was possible at the moment, thank you.

I am still f**king angry though.

After reading all today's posts about forwards, defenders, goalkeepers I just thought you'd stated the nub of the problem so succinctly, it really deserves it's own forum.

You can probably put most of it down to the fact I'm back at work tomorrow, I spent TWO HOURS of my life today in Euston Station reading on the big-screen Sky News that Fearne Cotton has gone teetotal (THAT... IS NOT... NEWS... YOU WANKERS!!!!!!!!!!) and I had to spend £12 on a taxi back from the station because it's double fare on New Years Day.

I really hate watching us get outclassed by players like Adam Bolder and Dexter f**king Blackstock.

I was a helluva lot more worried last season when tbh we looked absolutely dead and buried.

I'm sure Ollie knows (I mean I HOPE he does, he must do surely?) that we NEED midfielders.

But I really share your concerns Fez. And I don't just mean bringing in one, or two midfielders; I'm literally talking like two wingers, at least one on either flank, the recall of Max Gradel (I don't give a shit if anyone takes the piss) and at least one more, maybe two, central midfielders.

I don't care if James Wesolowski has the potential to be the new Makelele or whatever, I DON'T care if Stephen fecking Clemence is going to 'eventually' step up to the plate. I'm tired of waiting for players to prove themselves. They've had an abundance of chances. If they can't sort it out, and it's becoming increasing clear that, without help at least, they can't, then we need to find people who can.

Quickly.

New Year's Day 2007 - out classed at home by Sunderland

New Year's Day 2008 - out thought away at QPR.

In between, about 40 dodgy games, with the occasional heroic but ultimately pointless Cup performance, and a couple of wins against Barnsley.

Happy new year everyone :crylaugh:

We will finish 18th this season! Holloway said no mopre 17th!!! hel prove himself right. The performance yesterday was pathetic, there was no fight, and no commitment. Where was the fight back? there was enough time to try and grab a point from that game after we scored that goal.

Why did we not go on to build on that goal and fight for a point, there was 20 mins left. The problem with people in football nowadays they give up to easily. 3-0! oh thats it game over. well that is complete bollocks!!!! you can score 3 goals in as many minutes in football, and anyting is possible thats why we love the game so much. It is not as predicatable as that team is better then us so were going to lose. Or those players are good thats it defence may aswell give up!! football is not like that!!!!!!

It is dog eat dog out there. and no man is so far ahead of anyone else that he is God!!! its about time we started looking at teams and saying right lets give it our all and really fight for the fans, eachover, and the manager!!!! dont wait until you need to save yourself from relegation you lazy ****tards do it now!!!! there is still a chance of a play-off place!!! get your arses into gear and push for it!!!!!!

excuse me, rant over. Today has not started well, im begining to wish 08 was over allready

Spectacular.

Still, if we just sell McAuley for £1million or so, we could bring in some reinforcements.

Ultra seems to think there would be plenty of Premiership takers!

Good post if we dont get some midfielders then i am pretty sure we will go down.I feel a bit more positive now with our new attackers i thought Howard won most things in the air but he will not score many goals if we dont but midfielders to give him service.

What do we need a midfield for, we'll just punt it over their heads.

I suggest the Kieth Alexander approach.

5-2-3 formation, three centrebacks who are good at set pieces and like to hoof (McAuley and Kisnorbo are ideal, Bruno can actually pass a ball but we can teach him to hoof), two midfielders who can't do anything except shoot from distance successfully (problem area, Hume could fill in for the time being) and then a front three with a big bastard who can win headers (Howard), a nippy chap who can't finish (Elvis if he ever recovers from that mysterious ankle injury) and a slow immobile striker who can finish (I'd say Fryatt but he can't really finish can he).

Sign a couple of midfielders who can do long range shots and play-offs here we come.
