Holloway Slams Greedy Keane

Recommended Posts

Why does Holloway get him self in embaressing situations by slating one of the best players ever to grace the premiership? we cant get Marton for less than 3 mill, fact, but no need to shout about it is there?

Will he ever learn

Great Player he may have been, but the guy has always been a nob.

Fuk 'im I say. 3 millions too much and I'm behind Ollie on this one.

I want Fulop more than anyone but we shouldn't be held to ransom.

I think Keane needs a bit of a reality check - he has paid out over £14 mill for Gordon and Kenwyne fe*kin' Jones so obviously has no idea of the value of money

I disagree, fair play to Ollie for voicing his opinions..why shouldnt he!!

If you were unsatisfied with things in your job or the way the people above you ran things you would say something as well. Id rather have a manager that speaks his mind that one that doesnt anyday!

Also, 3 million for Fulop is alot of money and tbh i dont think he's worth that....i love Fulop and think it would be great to see him here, but that is just silly money to pay for him. Also agree on the transfer window being a stupid thing....get things back to how they were before!!!

He's Sunderlands player, they can charge 30 million for him if they want, without some media darling farmer impersonator getting his hay bails in a twist.

I would say "fair play" to Holloway giving his view on certain subjects, if it wasn't every forking day and near enough every single issue going.

Thats the money of football today i'm afraid, we haven't been the market for so long some people on here need a reality check.

Anyway, can't blame Keane for this at all.

It's hardly massively confrontational, is it? I'm sure Roy Keane will cope, unless he's a lot more sensitive than I had him down as being.

Impressed though I was with Fulop, £3 million is a hell of a lot for Sunderland's third choice keeper, isn't it?

Keane wants one of Reading better players (Stephen Hunt) and puts in a 2.5 M bid..Which fails (Keane moans about the inflated prices) But wants us to pay 3M for his 3rd choice goalkeeper...

FAK U KEANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HOPE YOU GET FAKING RELEGATED YOU TOSSER!!! :banghead:

You clearly don't want him as much as me.

We've been told the price.

We know what we're getting.

We've even had a half season trial.

The ball's in our court.

I see no reason why Keane should let him go cheaply.

Would he have been priced so highly if he'd not been outstanding during his loan period?

Have you ever test driven a car when the sticker price doubles if you like it?

Now i don't know for sure but if we took Fulop on a long term loan there must have been some talk prior to that regarding making it permanent.

If Keano then upped the price then Ollies within his rights to complain. If the price quoted prior to the loan was 3 million i'd be surprised.

Of course what i say is no more than an educated guess but I bet i'm not too wide of the post

You've missed the point as usual.

Keane has employed brinkmanship and dirty tactics. Clearly IH feels aggrieved as I'm sure that a price would have been discussed prior to the loan itself. Whether Milan or whoever was in charge at the time agreed that, I don't know, but that is clearly the issue here.

If no such agreement (non-written of course) was in place, then more fool LCFC, it is clear that if no price is agreed beforehand and the player plays well, this will have a bearing on the price.

Either way, I see that criticising Roy Keane in the media ain't the cleverest step in terms of securing the signature of Fulop or Kav and in any case, if we have been quoted £3million, there is no way we should be paying that for a keep when we need a midfield.

With the amount of negativity, angst and sh it being spouted on this board at the moment, the last thing we need is you acting like a cu nt Thracian.

But footballers aren't cars. What you see is what you get with a car.

But are you saying that if Fryatt goes half-a-season in and around the side and scores 3 goals in that time his notional price tag of, say, £500,000 at Christmas should remain the same if he scores 10 goals in 20 matches during the second half?

Footballers values are affected by various things and their form over a period of time is an important one of them. Current demand is another.

Yeah.

People have acknowledged this Thracian.

But in the case of the car, the price is indicated before you get in and test it.

We don't know if this was done with Fulop or not. So we can't really comment.

You're not a journalist now Thracian. This isn't a place people come to unquestioningly digest your contrived, deluded bullsh it.

As good as Fulop is he hasn't kept us from the predicament we are in now, so an over inflated price, in the presence of a gentlemans agreement, is a slap in the face of anyone. I wouldn't blow the lions share of our transfer kitty on one player, who hasn't kept us off the bottom of the table. Thats no disrespect to Fulop, as i think he is just what we need. but we need him at 1-2 million max. We still need others to get the wins.

And Keane has still always been a nob in my eyes

I've commented and I'm sure I won't ask your leave.

If you've nothing to do at work again why not go back to championing Fryatt? His cause needs a boost.

I only champion people when they've showed some reason for me to do so.

Perhaps I'll just pick a random spotty oik in the midst of puberty who's scored a couple of goals for the local town under 13's and bang on about them endlessly.

I'm just looking forwards to your reaction when you realise that Max Gradel isn't entirely 100% English born and bred!

Especially if he turned out to be homosexual with Louis Dodds or something, you'd probably hang yourself.

I can possibly see us getting Marty for £1.5-2m.....if a player wants to leave that badly and we want him that badly its the only way to go isnt it?! Keane is a **** but he's trying to get the best price for him, its just been played out in the press to such a silly extent.

CHEAPLY!! ..How can anybodies ((3rd CHOICE GOALKEEPER)) be worth 3 MILLION QUID????

You don't spend 9 MILLION on another keeper unless ((YOU THINK)) you need to.

Keane clearly does not even rate him enough to give him a go in the 1st team or he would of done so. So he car'nt have it both ways.

There is not another team ((IN THE WORLD WHO'S 3 CHOICE KEEPER IS WORTH THAT)) So please be sensible and don't try to defend the indefenceable

Remember folks, Fulop is currently at a club which paid £3.5m for the mighty Matt Piper.

And look what value for money they got from him!

Someone is clearly trying to settle the score..

Ben Foster for £3m wouldn't be that bad.

They can have him back to do radio commentary for them, and we get £1,000,000 off Fulop's price. Sounds fair.

I've earned a living from dealing for 20 years and one tip has always stood up to the test: "buy the best quality you can afford".

Yesterday's performance demonstrated exactly what Fulop is worth to us.
