they did have a great game against barnsley though a good 3-1 win so will be v tough, i hope we dont get carried away and think its going to be easy because yesterday was 1 GAME yes we were good but cov were shocking, if adebola had put the chance away would have been completely different so we need to be on the ball!

I was gonna go to this ( :o ) but we spent too much on our Edinburgh Trip... the week after...

Shame, wanna see the new boys as well!

It'll be a tough game, Norwich away is always tricky and their on a decent(ish) run of form at the moment that has got them away from trouble so it'll be a test but if we can replicate and improve upon the display on Saturday we stand a chance of getting a result.

As long as the defense stays solid we should be ok as i have faith we can grab a goal or two nowadays.

I think one of the understated aspects about the Cov game was how well our defense did. I know there were a few mistakes (Stearmans cock up etc), and i know Cov didnt really look that good, but every time they had the ball in our half, we closed them down so well that they didnt get any time on the ball and couldnt do anything, which i havent seen us do in a while. It was good to see. I would be interested to know how many shots Cov had, because it didnt seem like we let them have that many really.

I hope Holloway starts the same team as well, as i think Howard and Hume up front has real potential. Hayles look OKish when he came on, but i definately think we should start Howard and Hume. The only thing i would be tempted to change is Chambers at RB for Stearman. He had a few risky moments, and it really annoys me how he hoofs the ball up anytime an opposition player is within 20 yars of him. McAuley is at times a bit guilty of this too, but not as often.

I think we have a good chance though. Im debating going after yesterdays performance, all depends whether i think ive done enough work by next Friday. Ive got Uni exams the following week, so will decide late next week whether to go or not.

I'm thinking a point would be good here. Norwich are unbeaten in 9 according to The Championship this morning, so its going to be tough. Having said that, I'm impressed by what I saw yesterday, and a win wouldn't surprise me in the least, especially if more players of quality do join this week, as Holloway suggested yesterday.

Norwich are 9 games unbeaten having a revolution under Roeder. So i wont expect a win an away draw would do nicely for me but a win is possible.

not necessarily a bad time to play them then, it's rare in the championship to have runs this long, certainly not much longer than this, they have been a form team, now it's our turn...

they have obviously been a poor team this season at some stage, to read about what has happened here is going to make their players think about it a bit, might just set the nerves jangling....

any ideas on team?

i think:

Alnwick

Stearman Macauley Kisnorbo Mattock

Bori Oakley Clemence© Laczko

Howard Hume

So, that's unchanged then.

Still want to see James Chambers at right back.

although Palace, who we play after Naaaarch, are unbeaten in 14 I think I heard. So two tough games to come. Yesterday was wonderful. Now to see if we can carry it on. It may sound negative, but two draws and two decent performances would be a decent return.

No way on Earth that Saturday's team is changable unless changes are forced by injury or suspension. I'd be happy with a draw tbh, but with our new players I don't think we'll be playing for one. I imagine all three subs will be used with Monday in mind though.

Kisnorbo is suspended isn't he? And get fooking Stearman out of the team and get Chambers back in there. Reckon we'll have a new left back starting also.

Ummm. It's a much more complex question than you make it sound

We play Palace the Monday after Norwich don't we?

My mistake, just went and checked, I'd got it into my head we were. Deffo an unchanged team then, unless we bring new players in.

An unchanged team would be the wisest move. Never change a winning team especially a winning team who performed ever so well.

Norwich is a hard place to go but if we play like we did yesterday then we will take all 3 points.

Stick with an unchanged team and get them working well together ;)

I reckon I'd settle for a draw.
