The last player who made me look forward to a game as much as this

Bloody ell from an outsiders view the only one of your new signings that looked any good was Howard. Oakley will play well also. that hungarian left winger was lightweight and had no end product.

I may be going OTT here but....

The Cov game was one of the best in years and it felt like i was at Filbert Street again.

Most games in the last 4 years at the Walkers Ive not enjoyed it, felt shit gone home pissed off, and ultimately couldn't wait for the whistle to go and get out of there, im not one of these strange fans who randomly leave 5 minutes before the end of the game even when we are winning. O i can't understand them i can't :S

Anyway back to the Filbert Street thing, i was wishing that the final whistle wouldn't go on Saturday, the atmosphere was great and the new players were great. The best wingers we have had in years and years. Entertaining attacking great football, and we were even chaining passes together along the floor like Arsenal. It just felt like Filbert Street again it was that great. And it just cheers you up for the week :D

You've never done that before.

Well Fez's new name & the absence of a name in the topic opener lead me to that conclusion. :D

Oakley is quality we couldn't of wished for a better centre mid at this level.

Not denying that think he might turn out to be a bargain. Clemence worked better with him as well.

Zsolt is awesome. Reminds me a bit of Ryan Smith but with an end product! Looks as though he could chip in with his fair share of goals! Canaries will be crapping in their cages when they see him!

This hype has gone too far. I thought he was mint but what if he fails to perform for the next three or four games as he tries to learn a system. Lots of crying will be done.

He does look like a good player, but people have to remember he has only played one game. I think we as fans already are placing alot of pressure on him, from reading some of the posts on this site.

I do agree though, if he continues playing how he did against Cov on Saturday, he will certainly get a few goals here and there. He seemed to be getting into the box as often as possible, and also tracking back to do his defensive duties which will certainly help Mattock out. It was so refreshing to see someone taking on the opposing full back as well and beating them and getting decent crosses into the box.

Good luck to him and all the new signings!!

:scarf: BLUE ARMY!

Was what my dad calls a "900" winger.

A player that tries to beat a man over and over agian then loses the ball.

Zsolt however beat the man then whipped it in, he got in the box well too.

I was unbelievably drunk on Saturday, but even I can still remember how good Laczko was. Bori was very impressive as well, I hope we've stumbled across a couple of pearlers.

Glad to hear that the game was so enjoyable. We'll probably play poorly in the Blackpool and Cov games in February knowing my luck with picking Leicester fixtures :o

Glad to hear that Laczko and Bori did well. Barber was in LOVE with Laczko on the radio. When I saw Mattock play for the England U21 side I noticed how much better he looked with a good midfielder in front of him so I am not suprised he had a good game and kept Mifsud so quiet...a player that has been destroying Championship and Premiership defences this season.

When I saw the starting line up I felt that if the Hungarians were actually decent than that is easily a top six side. I hope that I am proved right and that they can hit that kind of form. While sixth this season is out of the question after the poor first half I would like to see us build up some momentum to take into next year. Holloways time here so far has been dissapointing because we could all see how he wants the team to play but he didn't have the players available to him to play like that.

I hope that this is not yet another false dawn but I think the difference this time is that while we have had some good results in the last couple of years we have rarely outclassed a side like you lot reckoned we did on Saturday. I really hope that they can keep it up as for once I too am very excited watching Leicester play over the next few weeks

Mattock did benefit from having good midfielders ahead of him - as would anyone else. So too did the rest of the team because people like Oakley and Laczko were both are specialists in their position and offered so many passing options and were very mobile and hard for the opposition to pin down.

It makes so much difference when a player knows what they are doing. I hope that Holloway can get our attacking play right because I'm sure that you would agree that the best form of defense is attack.

Midfielder more like, thought they worked well together.

Yep i cant wait for Norwich either. Exciting times ahead. This time last week i was not going away again, today i found myself down the ticket office!!

I just think Coventry were unbelivably bad especially the right back Osborne compared to Leicester's superiority. Oakley and Howard will be decent signings in the long term but I just think this Lazcko (sp?) was nowhere near as good as you lot are preaching.

I'll return in a couple of months, bump this thread and see how he's doing.

Stan bloody Collymore.

I'm buzzing.

Something else we agree on, presuming we're talking about a Leicester player. I say that because I always wanted to see Bergkamp when he came here.

i cant wait for the next game now :P i have been saying we have got the new Messi...he has the skills, the pace and the hair just tops it off :P

There better be a chant going about how we've got a Leicester City Messii next time I go to the Walkers. I might go to the Palace game, in fact I probably will now I've got discount because of my birthday.

Thanks for bringing Ryan Smith's name up in this thread. I remember his debut had many fans creaming themselves about how he was better than Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez and many others. But where is he now?

Laczko had a very promising start for him but the real test for him, as it was for the departed Kaebi, will come on away grounds. Let's wait and see how he does there before conferring sainthood on him.

Errr...

1) No one was.

2) We wouldn't have the authority to do so anyway?

3) Since when did anyone care what you think?

4) Who's making sure the women of Market Street don't go unmolested whilst you sit idly at that computer?
