I dont know any other buisness sector in Europe that is banned from employing people when they need them. Can you imagine banks being told they can only employ in January and the summer? There would be major disagreements. It pushes up the price of players too, and possibly their wages as clubs desperate for players ( like us) have had to wait until the january window to be able to employ people..

I don't think the FA had much to do with this you need to look towards FIFA (Blatter) & EUFA.
