Sat night i could hear the music coming from Vicky/De montfort Hall's summer sundae.

(We live in Evington so it aint that far,and with the wind blowing you can even hear the planes taking off at Heathrow...)

It was about 10ish and i asked the Mrs(Who is 8 months Pregnant!) if she fancied a drive to see what was happening.

So we went for a drive, got out and ended up walking around trying to blag ourselves in.

They wouldnt have it but the music sounded really good and there were loads of studenty type humans wandering around drunk and aimlessly!!!

:)

Got back today, was quality!

I love the atmosphere at the smaller festivals like summer sundae compared to the ones like V - when i went to V I felt like I was just being advertised virgin products everywhere whilst trying to dodge the pilled up scousers

Ive never been to a festival....its more of a white man thing :D

Sounded like a good doo and saw loads of people wanderig around aimlessly but not in a threatening manner.

I've not been for a couple of years Raj, but it's well chilled out and really family friendly too. Loads of my mates take their kids, some of whom are still in prams.

There are LOADS of people there older than you, so I wouldn't worry about that

Look out for me - we'll have our Leicester flag - it's the marker for when I'm coming back from the toilet!

Is there anyone even on on Wednesday?

Or is it just a couple of extra days getting wasted?

Thank fuck we have a home match on the 23rd. I need to get away from Reading as much as possible between the 21st and the 25th. After spending 5 hours in traffic one year when I drove to the festival, living here is going to be a nightmare.

Just a bit of advice to anyone going on the Thursday. If you're driving make sure that you get to Reading around 7-8am. One year I drove down and got there at 10am. Spent 5 hours in traffic, had to park in an overflow car park, and then spent 2 hours doing a couple of trips back and forth from the car to where my mates (who got there at 7am) were parked.

Needless to say the next year I drove down to my sisters (30 minutes away) on the Wednesday evening and left hers about 7

You couldn't lend me something intriguingly shaped to drink out of for the weekend could you? Or let out your toilet? :P
