holloway won't be here in the summer-he's had his chance and he's gotta go!

Well, well... Here's my honest assessment. And finally one that's worth it - I've been to the game! Daggers, now that we've met, there's no doubt I do actually exist in real life. lol

Anyhoo, coming back to these wasted 90 minutes of my life, I think I've seen worse myself and maybe I somewhat didn't really expect an exploit on Saturday. In addition, the past four to five years have taught me modesty and low expectations when it comes to Leicester City FC.

First of all, the rule still applies that we never play well when our match is being broadcast. Jinx No.1.

We had about 20 strong minutes - the first and the last ten. The 70+ in between were a matter to forget. Awful passing, no system whatsoever (apart from the oh so very original hoof ball tactics), most players were an utter disappointment. Misdirected passes, wrong positioning. The pieces simply won't fit together. We had about four to five good shots in the entire game - and that's a generous estimation. Why Holloway still has faith in Hume playing on the right, I don't know. But our dear Canadian is totally crap there, he almost completely disappeared from the radar for most of the game. Sadly enough, there were other shocking team nominations and placements by our "holy", yet apparently clueless manager: Chambers was absolutely poor as right back. Clemence with unusual drive forward - but he simply isn't an attacking midfielder. Oakley with some shocking passes, no real drive forward from him. Howard used to be the one pushing defenders around, last night he was the one being constantly shoved. And can someone please ask Holloway why he took Bori off the field?

Only DJ created some danger up front and Fryatt was unlucky that his shot towards the end got saved by the Argyle keeper. Clapham had a solid game with few mistakes - but almost all newly-introduced LCFC in the past few months have done it alike only to lose momentum later on...

The referee - another laughable subject. Plymouth could push and shove as they liked it, he let them play on. Only as the second half progressed, did he start to change his mind. Why Hayles was offside and why Lazcko was booked for being pulled down at the end, I don't know either. It was a blatant penalty.

All in all, a game between two very poor sides with no apparent motivation. Luck gave Plymouth the edge. However, we didn't really deserve to win this one, anyway. Hardly anyone on the pitch gave a toss about winning in the first place. Well, they tried. But failed miserably.

We were rubbish and I don't know what it is that has made us perform on such an inconsistant basis for the past 4 to 5 years. Something's wrong with the ground, the pitch and/or the shirts. Jinxes 2, 3 and/or 4. Not even a team talk at the end of the game behind closed doors will change any of that. Sorry, Ian. You can shout at them as much as you want to. No matter what new brooms we get in, nothing really ever changes for some odd reason.

Bleurgh. Cluelessness all over the place. Just like Levein & Kelly. Only worse.

Oh, next stop Watford.

Great.

4-1, anyone?

Already started in general chat. I'm actually beginning to think that Milan may pull the trigger if we lose to Watford and Norwich.

I think you might well be right.

Well this is my last post on here for a bit, untill you next have business with Argyle. Can I just say that I thought it was an excellent post from Green_Allen which summed up Holloway nicely. Personally I am glad he has gone because now we can go back to being Plymouth Argyle instead of "Ian Holloways Plymouth". see you next season, as I believe we will both still be in this division. Bye for now - Plymouth Pete

Because it's against the rules, ask Holloway, he'll tell you. Mind you, probably wouldn't believe him. :D

Hey, i view it as a compliment that they are coming on here. They won their cup final and good luck to them. They mean nothing to any of us. Just another League 2 team punching above their weight, like Colchester and S****horpe.

League two?

Ask Watford, Charlton, Sheffield Utd all bigger teams all beaten at home.

A season or two ago I would have agreed with you but beleive we have learnt how to compete in this league , I am however sure we would not compete in the premiership but just to get there would be an achievement, play off ambitions are still there so we can but hope.

Cheers to the Leicester fans in the Pub before the game(cant remember the name) good bit of banter, good result for us thought overall we deserved it, nice ground by the way, also really impressed with the level headed approach by your stewards to us, not like the knuckle dragging tw**s we employ.

Good luck the rest of the season.

Defeat Frustrates Holloway

Ian Holloway says a lack of belief cost his side following their 1-0 defeat to Plymouth at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Foxes started the game well, and were unlucky to have an effort from Matt Oakley ruled out for offside in the early stages.

But Plymouth stuck to their task and took the lead through Hungarian winger Peter Halmosi - his fourth of the campaign to date.

Holloway made three changes in the second half - throwing DJ Campbell, Matty Fryatt and Zsolt Laczko into the mix.

But despite a late rally the Foxes were unable to take advantage of their domination - leaving them just three points off the drop zone.

Holloway said: "I just think we have got a fundamental problem here. Some of the body language of our players is just not acceptable.

"I went for a little bit more experience in the line up this week.

"We have got to change the energy of the group and maybe we need to change some more because that was unacceptable.

"We needed a bit of pace today to actually unlock a door. I thought that Peter Halmosi was a threat all game and typically he got the goal. But when he struck it he believed that the ball was going in. We half hoped that the ball was going in - particularly late on. Matty Fryatt was the only one who was the only one who was sharp in the closing stages and believed his effort was going to go in.

"It is very frustrating. We have now got 15 games to go and that was another missed opportunity.

"This division is bunching up and is at tight as anything. We have got to dig in because that is unacceptable for me."

SACK HOLLOWAY NOW!

I have never seen such a ridiculous shambles- I am a 53 year old, whos been going to see the Foxes since I was about 5 so I am pretty well qualified to talk about them. The way we are playing football is a disgrace- shambolic! Holloway needs to stop all his media nonsence and concentrate on trying to win football matches. He left Plymouth in a mess, QPR in a mess, Bristol Rovers in administration and now he is taking us DOWN!

We were mid table when he took over and now we have won only 4 matches since out of about 16 league games. Very poor considering the money he has had to spend.

Sort it out now MILAN

Sorry Zsolt I am new to all this!!

But I am angry and felt it was relevant to both discussions.

Barry Hayles was terrible yesterday as he was away at Blackpool too. I think Ollies faith is misguided- Fryatt is a better option IMO
