MikeyT Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Looks about right.Could play a wild card thopugh and play Laczko upfront with campbell. He is pretty good in the air and offers more pace/movement than Howard. after all henri was a converted winger. I await the abuse. Weve played so many players out of position this season and we also have the worst scoring record in the league..so why not! Anything is worth a try at this point!
Jimmy Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Is Weso still injured? he isn't injured, he played for the reserves last week

Thracian Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 I don't think it will make the slightest difference who he picks.
Flynny Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 I don't think it will make the slightest difference who he picks. You think they'll still be static, not playing for each other and blame-shifting? Could be right.
Dames Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 It will be the same team he played against plymouth. He has to include Barry Hayles somehow doesnt he.
Father Ted Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 I have to say that either Mcauley or Kisnorbo should be dropped and in my eyes that is Mcauley. He is too slow and when he comes up against Ellington or Henderson he's gonna be torn apart. We definitely need Stearman somewhere across the backline to cover if one of their strikers breaks through our defence, possibly even at centre-back and Bruno at right-back. Or if I was Holloway with all of this pressure I may even do a Megson and play with wing-backs. ?? Discuss.

Jimmy Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 I don't think it will make the slightest difference who he picks. at least you've stopped saying the youth team would win the league
jbrommo Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Having seen Watford a few times this season the first thing that Leicester need to do tomorrow is match them when they lump the ball forward, so you need to be prepared to win those second balls from knockdowns. To be honest you could do with someone to break up the play in midfield and get 'stuck in', no disrespect to Clemence and Oakley who are probably as gifted a central midfield pairing in the league, but I honestly dont think that is what will win you games in this league where effort beats skill it seems - have you got that grafting central midfielder, also will Hayles play? given my choice i would play DJ or how would Hume play alongside Howard?

Houdini Logic Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 We've got no capable wingers so why do we persist in playing 442???? Alnwick Stearman - Kisnorbo - McAuley - MattockClemence - Wesolowski - Oakley ©HumeCampbell - Fryatt That looks good to me - anything to stop Leicester trying to hit crows with the ball
Jimmy Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 That looks good to me - anything to stop Leicester trying to hit crows with the ball with them 2 at CB the crows would still need boy armour
Pooley Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Right, this is my first post on the forum. On what I have seen, heard and read on this forum, I would pick this team: Anwick Stearman ) McAuley ) Kisnorbo ) Clapham ) Need to keep the same defence for continuity. Stearman was missed on Saturday and Clapham will hopefully bring that much needed experience. Chambers: Some experience and pace on right of midfield, can defend as well. Thought he was poor defensively on Saturday though. Oakley ) Clemence ) These two need to continue to improve on their partnership and make their experience tell. Laczko: He needs to understand his role as a winger, get to the byline and get crosses in for Howard, I'm sure he can do it. Howard: Crosses from the flanks are needed not from the centre backs. Fryatt: Need him back to bring some nounce to the attack. He may be the one to have some idea how to play off a big centre forward. Subs: Hume DJ N'Gotty Bori Weso
