I wanna go to the Middle East in the summer so is anyone kind enough to suggest a good airline? Emirates sounds like a good shout, has anyone taken it before? How good is it?

I took BA when I went to Somalia last summer. It was awful. Never again. It was like flying with Easy Jet, but for 8 hours.

I took KLM when I went to USA and it was a very pleasant flight. I'll take KLM if there are lack of alternatives.

Emirates are great, flew with them a few times to Australia (Stop of at Dubai on the way, 7 Hours each part of the journey, Dubai, Singapore, Australia)

And if you lucky like me they'll sell your seat and upgrade you to Business Class, Then they'll upgrade you to First Class for free

Economy is good, A fair amount of leg room, not a huge amount but enough and your gonna struggle to find an airline with a major amount anyway, seats recline a fair amount, good food, good selection of TV - Just watch out for kids sitting behind you who decide to hit the the touch screen TV located in your headrest.

Qatar Airways.

Favourite with me.

I go Philippines every few years to see my relatives, and Qatar Airways is fantastic.

Food is delightful, leg room available.

Emirates are one of the better airlines. Qatar airways are also awesome. Best price search engine is www.kayak.co.uk

I like it when we fly with Virgin. They do good TV

Yup. Loved flying to California with Virgin (L.A. one year and San Francisco the next).

I generally watch 5 movies in a row. Forget sleeping!!!

Got free upgrade from LA too!!! :)

We love Avinunca!

And by 'we' I mean 'no one'

And by 'love' I mean 'are ambivalent bordering on a strong dislike'

And they don't go there anyway.
