Koke Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Fryatt? Piss off. I still havent forgiven him for that miss at QPR. Better than Howard, Hume, Hayles and Campbell. Your having a laugh. Those people who want Fryatt in will be the same ones who'll be moaning after a few games that he is a) slow, b) can't turn his man and c) no physical strength and no aerial ability. He's the last striker in the pecking order. And so he should be.
skinnydipper Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Clinically depressed. No medical diagnosis required
reynard Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Just got in from work and not at all surprised. Really can't see us getting out of this. Looking forward to hearing from those that went but against 10 men surely we should have been capable of getting a positive result.. More worrying seems to be the distinct lack of shots yet again. I await this to be confired by those who were there. The Norwich game is now absolutely massive. If we don't win we will have played 2 games more than some of those around us. Starting to look like 3 from the bottom6 or 7 to be relegated. Distinctly unimpressed by Holloway's managerial abilities and motivational skills.
acooling08 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Milan Out.Demolish the stadium. Players out. Start from scratch. Youth team players, players who are hungry to play. You are just talking absolute bullshit now. please shut up
DanTheFox07 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Fryatt should be involved after coming closest to scoring for us at plymouth after being on for 5 seconds but i don't think you are right to critisise howard. Why am i not right to criticise him, ollie has admitted that we are a team liable to hit the long ball towards him because we can`t cross the ball from the wings onto his head!!! yet we still play him, i went to see bournemouth play tonight and people who think Gradel is the answer are wrong 2 lightweight for this division, can`t tackle but perhaps one for the future but not yet. I feel for Fryatt he is an intelligent player in and around the box and i don`t think defenders like playing against him, we need a player who can play with the ball at his feet, campbell is favoroured because of his pace, howard is favoured because he can head a ball and nobody favours a player who is good with the ball at there feet i don`t understand it. I have to say i know it hurts to be a Leicester Fan right now weve been outside the premier league for a long time now and everyone thought come start of this season was the start of a new era under mandaric. This has proven not to be the case and i remember a few plymouth fan`s telling us that ollie wasn`t a great tactician which i think has shown in recent weeks, have to say im very disappointed mattock hasnt been invloved 2nite don`t know the exact reason`s but clapham is past his sell by date. Hume is our top goalscorer and his on the bench and ollie likes playing him on the wing get a grip mate, knowing how much our chairman admires dowie and i don`t want this to happen but a thought for everyone, if ollie loses a 4th game on the bounce and we slip into the relegation places will he be tempted to get Dowie in????
Micky Ruddle Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 You are just talking absolute bullshit now. please shut up Maybe because that is what this club is !?!
DanTheFox07 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Fryatt? Piss off. I still havent forgiven him for that miss at QPR. Better than Howard, Hume, Hayles and Campbell. Your having a laugh. omg u actually rate hayles........
maddog Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 This just about sums it up: I said: We didn't have a shot on target all game Mum Said: What we didn't shoot the ball towards the goal all game?!?!?! Dad Said: Yes but just not towards goal. Horrible tactics, Hume right wing yet again.
STUHILL Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 I think we are suffering from a severe lack of quality wingers!!! Don't think these Hungarians are up to it at the moment. Get some loan players in plz Ollie!!! I know there are other big problems, but this is one we should correct, Scott Sinclair would do nicely and liven up our attack!
WetFlannel Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 omg u actually rate hayles........ Hayles > Fryatt

Foxy1984 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 I am seriously getting worried now. That was thoroughly depressing. We did not stand a chance. Duh duh duh duh... fookin useless

Gradel's never been able to tackle and I don't give a shit whether he can tackle or not. We've got and have had dozens of tacklers. It's what he can do that interests me. He can shoot and he can pass where it hurts people. And he does so a damn site more often than anyone in our team at the moment. Anyway, it doesn't matter. He's exiled. He's not coming back. He's not an option. We are stuck with what we've got and that's produced two goals in the last five matches.

Thats fair enough he can pass a ball where it hurts if he doesnt get pushed off the ball before hand, Don`t get me wrong id like to see him have a game for leicester too! think he would have a lot more passion and motivation to play for us than these hungarians who arent that special
RowlattsFox Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 The stats don't look good but I'll wait to read the views of those who went because sometimes the stats could be misleading, maybe Watford restricted us by defending well, yes i'm clutching at straws but im fed up of reading these threads and becoming depressed. Ben Alnwick has to take the blame for the goal, everygame he does that and it was bound to lead to a goal eventually. It could have been worse after tonights results but both Preston and Sheff Wed failed to win, we are in a battle and luckily for us it is in our own hands. If we do go down with the fixtures we have remaining then we deserve to go down.
Mighty Muzzy Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Just got home from the match. What a load of rubbish! Howard was rubbish all night long. Just stood around in the penalty box like a very poor imitation of Alan Shearer. We just need to consolidat this season to make sure we are not relegated and then start afresh for next season, hopefully without 5 manager changes and a squad of 55 players, all of which are useless!
General Smuts Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 I don't know if im the first back or not but as i went to the game ill give my tuppence in early. I thought today we played ok, the shape was pretty good but the final ball was lacking. DJ was always out played and muscled by Shittu, Clemence never looked at Clapham all game, Zsolt needs crossing lessons and Ben Alnwick is amazing. Stearman played well today and was possibly our MOM with Kisnorbo and Alnwick very close behind.

Watford did indeed also defend brilliantly, but we were shite in attack aswell.
General Smuts Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Wasn't Alnwick horribly at fault for the goal? Didn't you go in the end? Yeah he kinda was, did his best limp wristed Elton John impression. But was otherwise brilliant.
Tube Bar Rich Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Just seen Ollie on Sky Sports News say he thought we were the better team when both teams had 11 men. I have come to the conclusion this guy is a 'Complete Fvckin idiot'.

Nah couldn't get there in the end. Ah well I suppose there's one positive to take from tonight then (apart from his mistake )
