Please use the following poll to vote for your Foxes player of the month.

We will be running these polls every month of the season and the player finishing first will get 3 points, second 2 points and third 1 point. The 3 players with the most points at the end of the season, will then be polled to determine who should be crowned the FoxesTalk player of the season 2008

Qualification for players is they have to have to played the equivalent of 3 games this month (270 minutes).

  • This month there are 10 eligible players from 5 league games.
  • 5 players started and finished all 5 games: Alnwick, Kisnorbo, Clemence, Oakley, Howard
  • 17 players were used.
  • Results this month:
    • Blackpool Away Lost 1-2
    • Plymouth Home Lost 0-1
    • Watford Away Lost 0-1
    • Norwich Home Won 4-0
    • Coventry Away Lost 0-2

Clapham for me.

And me - Coventry was the first time that he didnt have a solid game in my opinion. The others on the list have had highs and lows but he's been consistant throughout

I've not voted. I don't see that anyone has been close to outstanding this month.

One or two of those qualified might have been described as okay for most of the time but, generally, we've had no consistency and certainly no brilliance.

And seeing that was the first full month since the transfer window signings arrived I can't say I'm encouraged.

To be honest, I'm with Thracian on this one.

There hasn't ben one player for me wh's been particularly fantastic in each of these games. Therefore I'd say that none of them deserve a player on the month award.

Clapham, steady throughout. More than can be said for anyone else.

None of them, play good one week and next week back to the same shite.

I voted Howard not because he has been amazing because he hasnt but because i feel sorry for him with players hoofing the ball up to him and knowone being around for the flick ons

I'm not sure about this ,but hasn't Stearman played more games than Chambers this month? Why isn't he on the list?

i don't imagine i'll vote, but based on match reports/ratings, i must say the clapham thing is a hell of a surprise, i can't remember anyone saying one word about him of quality, mo 'breath of fresh air', no 'valuable addition', most were old/slow/ineffective/nobetterthanmattock, the fact that he is being considered player of the month makes me realise how bad this month has been - the only player who seems to have come out of this month with anything like praise is oakley. don't we normally get a summary of MOTM votes?

but, as thracioan has noted, there does seem to be a tendancy on this board to get overly excited about any new player(s) irrespective of quality.

clapham, player of the month - oh dear

We don't normally have a formal MOM poll, I just did it for the one month when we had 8 games to aid people's memories.
