Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 Is it? Is it really? Against all hope? Cos I was really looking forward to the Grindhouse thing, but then it all went tits up and never saw either of the films come out on the cinema.
MikeyT Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 Blimey, thought it was pants. Agreed, i thought it was a pile of steaming doo doo!!
General Smuts Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 What a cracking flick. I wholeheartedly concur. Prefered Planet Terror though. I couldnt help but groan at the missing scene though. Cheesy but in a good way Enjoyed both the grindhouse flicks well worth watching both back to back with Deathproof first.

That is a truly great film, the machine gun for a leg still makes me chuckle even now
Daggers Posted 2 March 2008 Author Posted 2 March 2008 Given the choice of this lot or Daniel Day Lewis, who would you rather sit and talk cinematography with? Grr...woof...woof! I spy Mrs Daggers mkII, mkIII & mkIV
Babylon Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 I watched it last night... someone could have warned me I would be wasting two hours of my life. I really don't see any point to the film whatsoever. Two hours of birds chatting to each other with about 10 minutes of Kurt Russell, who was the only good thing in the film. Well him and the fact all the women would get it... several times over.

MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 The only death-certain proof here is that movie tastes differ. I, for my part, can't stand either one and - NO - even if you were my girlfriend, I'd suggest watching something more culturally rewarding! Like... BUBBA HO-TEP
Dr The Singh Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 It was !! I had more fun watching my wedding dvd, the actual ceremony bit!!
Smudge Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 If it's Tarrantino or Rodrigues I'll buy it. Anyone see Four Rooms?
