Bert Posted 21 March 2008 Author Posted 21 March 2008 Well they dicked Southampton 5-0 in there last game if that's anything to go by. Well actually they didn't. They beat Colchester 3-1 in their last game. But anyway, 8 goals in 2 games is ok, i guess.
jaffa1970 Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 I know this is not at all relevant to this forum topic, but does anyone know what time of year that next season's season tickets will go on sale? Am going to come to the UK for at least a year for work and want to get a season ticket. Have previously had one when I last worked there.
Father Ted Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 I think that if we can stop them scoring we will win, if we don't then we'll be in for a 4-4 or a 5-3 or something along those lines

They usually go sale pretty much as the season ends early to mid may for people to renew and then general sale probably around the start of June. but you certainly wont have a problem getting one!!
davieG Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 I can't afford this game. Not even for £5/£8 Supporters are advised that today (Friday) sees the last chance to take advantage of the Leicester Mercury's subsidised ticket promotion for Saturday's Championship clash against Hull City. The last coupon and redemption form is printed in today's paper - with the redemption deadline to claim tickets extended until 12noon on Saturday. BUT, as the ticket office is expecting another busy day of ticket sales, supporters are advised to purchase their tickets at the earliest possible opportunity to avoid disappointment. Over 27,000 tickets have already been sold for the contest and the Club are forecasting a sell out if the current rush continues. Supporters are required to collect two coupons and a redemption form from the Leicester Mercury to exchange for one ticket at the following prices: Season ticket holders purchasing tickets for friends and family: Over 16s just £5 Under 16s just £3 All other supporters: Over 16s just £8 Under 16s just £5 It's not too late to collect your coupons... Supporters who wish to take advantage of the of the special Easter fixture ticket prices but haven't yet collected any coupons simply need to purchase two copies of today's Leicester Mercury and exchange their coupons at the Walkers Stadium ticket office by no later than 12noon on Saturday.

I thought I'd missed all that. Cheers. Now I just need to find someone to go with.
Simi Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 I thought I'd missed all that. Cheers. Now I just need to find someone to go with. You're welcome up in F1 obviously mate.
Flynny Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 You're welcome up in F1 obviously mate. Got it sorted now. Mum's gone up the shops with instructions to bring back two Mercurys. "Why, are you in it?" "No." Cheers anyway though.
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 This is a huge game for us. I'm feeling really upbeat about it though. I can see us winning this one. If we do win it, we'd put ourselves in quite a rosy position. 47 points on the table, and all remaining games at home against teams below us. We'd probably be comfortable with a win and 2 draws out of that lot. Sitting here with Sky Sports News and Hendrie is keen to stay at Leicester permanently next season. Splendid! Come on, a two game winning streak is surely not beyond us.
Daggers Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Pre-match is over - it's all about the matchday thread now.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 lol lol :crylaugh: Just had a text message from a mate informing me that Phillip Brown was once again in our local night club tonight completley off his tree. amusing on so many levels, I am starting to wonder if he makes his team stay at Springs in Ashby for every away game in a 30 mile radius because it benefits the team, or so he can enjoy Ashby De La Zouchs not so fantastic night life. Still 5th in the table, maybe we could do with a alcholic as a manager. In fact maybe we should make him manager, then he can go out in Ciros every week.

STUHILL Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Hey Im Ashby born and bred!! What club??? Guna spike his drink! Ok scatch that, just seen Ciros! I'll get him..........
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Ok scatch that, just seen Ciros! I'll get him.......... I really don't get it, If i could make a list of places I wouldn't be seen dead in if I was a highly paid football manager, Artys would be first and Ciros would be a close second.
