blue blood Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 England is boring, the roads are all the same, the skies are grey, there are too many rules and regulations, we cant take any risks in the name of health and saftey, we cant go out in town after 10 unless we are out getting wasted, we have to conform to standards, we are told how to bring up our children, we are brain washed into thinking what the government want us to think, we get sunshine for about 1 month out of 12, we always want more than we have, we eat into obisety, we drink into binge drinking, we have no national identity, all the houses in their streets look the same, there are too many cctv cameras, we are encouraged to borrow to live above our means, Our children cannot play outside for fear of being robbed or kidnapped, we cannot park on a yellow line for fear of getting ticketed, we are over worked, we do not get nough holidays, we have too many chavs, we have too many immigrants AND we have no sense of fun anymore.

I can think of worse places to live. Would you prefer to be starving in some parts of Africa? They have blue sky, sunshine, no CCTV cameras, no yellow lines, no chavs...

Thracian is correct. I only work 9-5 but outside of that, I have a number of interests and hobbies, I have a girlfriend (time and money hungry), a good circle of friends, I get involved in running a charity and am also undertaking exams. As well as that, I try to do some extra work to earn extra pennies. I struggle to fit it all in. I really do. I wasn't trying to make myself seem important above - most people would say the same. This country is awash with things to do, ways to spend your time, opportunity to earn and spend money etc etc. It most certainly is not boring.
