Fryatt and headers six yards out

How many more does he want to miss? He missed two glaring opportunities today and the chance against QPR sticks in the mind...

Apparently he played well today but his goal return is still abysmal after his mini run in the side.

Needs to sharpen up or face Hume or Campbell taking his place. Think he did ok, but he must take these chances, could have been crucial misses if Scunny had of scored.

To be fair, Joe Murphy made some class saves.

:appl: Yeah. He kept Scunny in it. Henderson had ltiitle to do

But strikers of Fryatts apparant ability shouldnt be hitting the keeper when the whole net beckons....and therby hangs the story of our season, noone scoring on a consistant basis, against if we are all honest some pretty poor teams in this division.

MURPHY was as good as Fryatt was poor.

It wasn't just the two headers, but the amount of touches he takes makes him miss out on two or three chances a game. I would not be to fussed if he was dropped for the next game. Hopefully a Hume return for me. I reckon he'd love to work with this midfield. But we'll see what Ollie reckons to that.

Were you at the game? The keeper kept Fryatt out! He did not "miss" any he was kept out!

To be fair I thought he was really poor today, 4 steps off the pace, always offside and didn't really get in the game.

Come off it Kilworth, the last chance especially, he was about 5 yards out, had the whole goal to aim for but headed it straight at the keeper. If that isn't a miss then i dont know what is.

He was poor today, but he put himself in the positions so surely he'll get some eventually.

Yes, but either side on that header and it would've been in but where does he put it? - Straight at the keeper.

Sorry, no. There's a fine line between a good save and a woeful miss and more often than not it's a goalkeeper that's wrongly credited with genius. Can't fault the bravery and reflexes to make a five yard save, but you have to question the £400k striker that consistently can't find the net from inside the six yard box.

Well he was my MOTM

lol Were YOU at the game?

Elvis without pace.

Offside all game, and misses all the time. Useful squad player, but definitely not a starter. Think we should offload Campbell in the summer, and perhaps sign a new forward to partner Howard.

Well I thought Matty was unlucky today. The last header straight at the keeper you could argue he should of scored but the other chances were good saves.

Yes I was

I agree he could have put it in the top corner and scored but he did not. Fryatt had a good game, and so did their keeper.

Thought MURPHY made some very good saves throughout the match. However Fryatt should have scored at least 1.

Am I making sense?

Dunno, I didn't go to the Man City game.

Tits.

Joe Murphy - Joe Hart?

Same person really.
