clazkel Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Leave him alone, he tried to chase everything down which helped us to win and there keeper had a great game. You can't have him playing his first full game up front in months and expect him to be sharp straight away, give the guy a chance, stop slating him! It was Hume who was getting slated afew weeks ago and now some are saying to get Hume in instead of Fryatt. Im a fan of Hume and would like to see Hume and Fryatt up front, but Howard played the best i have seen him play for us today so he deserves to keep his place for next week Its better to have a stiker who is getting in the position to score and not scoring, rather than having a striker who doesn't get in the positions so has no chance of scoring. Once Fryatt scores 1 he will score more.

I'm sorry but if we're ever going to challenge at the top of this league we need to be getting rid of players like Fryatt. He's not been able to hold down a place in the team and doesn't score goals. I'd sell him (if we stay up) in the summer.
Micky Ruddle Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Easily had time to take the ball down today, and knock it in. Maybe the pressure got to him. He'll learn.
The Stig Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Easily had time to take the ball down today, and knock it in. Maybe the pressure got to him. He'll learn. I'd doubt that.
Simi Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Easily had time to take the ball down today, and knock it in. Maybe the pressure got to him. He'll learn. Yet the Hungarians are not allowed this time?
CKB Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Leave him alone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWSjUe0FyxQ...feature=related God i wish someone would do a LEAVE FRYATT ALONE one
The Reverend Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWSjUe0FyxQ...feature=relatedGod i wish someone would do a LEAVE FRYATT ALONE one Thats clearly a man.
CKB Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 I'd be lying if i said that! Well he does play like a girl? *Waits for the hoard of female foxes fans to give me a bashing for being sexist*
Monk Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Fryatt out at the end of the season PLEASE! The guy needs to take a step down to take a step up.
Daggers Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Doo doo doo - ****ing useless! Hopeless player: shoot him, sell him, build a ****ing box girder bridge out of him - I don't care just so long as his limp attempts at playing football don't take place in a City shirt again. I do not remember one occasion where he held off a defender, most of the time dropping to the floor on the slightest nudge. Time and again he was second best and as for chasing the ball...he may as well be a 20 stone middle aged man trying to chase totty down Market Street. All huff and puff and no result. I was impressed with the attitude of most today - but this little bald headed tit has to go, I've run out of damn patience with him. **** off Fryatt.
Thracian Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 How many more does he want to miss? He missed two glaring opportunities today and the chance against QPR sticks in the mind...Apparently he played well today but his goal return is still abysmal after his mini run in the side. If Fryatt's name was Hammond and he was a different colour he'd be ridiculed mercilessly. The header he missed was a sitter. Credit to the goalkeeper but someone like Bob Latchford would have put ball and goalkeeper in the net. Such a pity because some of the balls into the box today deserved a goal.
AyewJoking Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Fryatt looked extra sloppy yesterday, was he fully fit?
Father Ted Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 He needs to go out on loan next year to a League 2 team to get some goals and some confidence.
Suffolk_fox Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Well I thought Matty was unlucky today. The last header straight at the keeper you could argue he should of scored but the other chances were good saves. Not being at the game, I cannot comment on his performance yesterday, but it does seem that he has been incredibly unlucky for ages. Perhaps, he is a good striker but not really at this level?

Sounds like you start him next week In all honesty I thought he did well yesterday Just goes to show how differently people watch football!
volpeazzurro Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Elvis without pace.Offside all game, and misses all the time. Useful squad player, but definitely not a starter. Think we should offload Campbell in the summer, and perhaps sign a new forward to partner Howard. Good call! I've never rated Cambell who is just a very poor mans Hume. I'd like to see Howard and Hume in the next game with Fryatt as sub. Has Ollie given Hume a chance in his correct position with Howard?
Daggers Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Just goes to show how differently people watch football! In all honesty, I don't see much football as I'm too busy looking at the people singing in the Kop
Webbo Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Well I thought Matty was unlucky today. The last header straight at the keeper you could argue he should of scored but the other chances were good saves. After seeing the replay on the Championship today I take it back, that was a good save too.
Stevosevic Posted 30 March 2008 Author Posted 30 March 2008 After seeing the replay on the Championship today I take it back, that was a good save too. It was straight at him from close range, that's poor, you have to bury those.
Webbo Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 It was straight at him from close range, that's poor, you have to bury those. The keeper had to stretch to turn it over the bar.
Stevosevic Posted 30 March 2008 Author Posted 30 March 2008 The keeper had to stretch to turn it over the bar. He stuck his arm up in the air and palmed it over the bar, hardly stretching is it? Any striker would say you should bury those.
