Got the book. never realised a film had been made. As a youngster I was always on the injuns side. not heard any of the ones in it. I wonder if the same emotion will come out of the film as parts of the book are.

Caught up on the first two episodes of the new series of The Thick Of It. Superb, as predicted.

Ben Swain on Malcolm Tucker: "I used the last tea bag and he pushed me up against the wall and called me Noncy Sinatra"

watched that too, it was amazing....it actually predicted eclipses for years to come, even the date and time of day and colour of the eclipse...2000 years ago.

Just watched Ip Man 2, downloaded No.1 off Film4 too last night.

Only saw No.2 so far tho

Interseting thoughts about it tbh with the timing of the release of 2 and the storyline, but it was a very, very good movie

Some Kung Fu type subtitled film. Jed Lee's Fearless. Missed some of it because I was waiting for the Richard the Third report on Newsnight. They had all the po.litical stuff first. Turned the sound off for that.

Charlie Brooker's "Black Mirror" Episode 1 on 4OD..............

Uncomfortable television in it's highest order.

Basically, Princess Kate Middleton is kidnapped and demands are put up on youtube that the Prime Minister must have live sexual intercourse on all terrestrial TV channels..... with a pig.

And it's done as Social Realism - arse clinchingly brilliant and a tad sick.

Is it just me that thought Friends was vastly overrated?

I only ever watched a few bits here and there but I never found it funny at all, just really obvious dull humour. Could never understand why my otherwise rational friends were so into it
