HHHHHAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

I echo Kilworth, pointless voteing round here until the legions of ex Miners die it will always be Labour. They haven't quite cottoned on to the fact that Labour aren't really Labour anymore, as their last budget proved.

NW Leics actually went Tory last year.

Anyone like to point out to me why I should give a flying **** about the London Mayor?

Newspapers and 5Live seem to think I should - but I'd rather give myself an enema with a stick.

The choice is between someone who's actually done a decent job, and some buffoon who seems to think that being part of a public school mafia automatically qualifies him for any job he applies for.

But as it's London voting, I'm not holding my breath they'll make the right decision.

Labour have today changed their emblem from a rose to a condom, as it more accurately reflects the goverments stance.

A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while your actually being fooked.

No seriously this is political suicide and for people unable to claim the losses back through other benefits it will be a kick in the balls.

People don't want to claim money back through benefits, they don't want it taken away in the first place. The super rich pay almost no tax at all on their incomes because we are told we need to attract their financial expertise. Doesn't take that much expertise to lend out money irresponsibly, take the huge profits in obscene bonuses and then not accept the risks by being bailed out when it blows back in your face.

The first time I won't be voting Labour.

The Working Class Socialist party are the only party in the Oxford area that have promised to bring back weekly rubbish collections. As everybody on my street has rats, this is of primary concern. I haven't decided whether to vote in Luton, I aint seen any of the campaign literature.

Colour it anyway you want - but as someone Labour could have traditionally depended upon for the vote, I'll not be voting Labour.

My councilor contacted me for the very first time today (since the last local election). A lovely glossy leaflet that fails to cover up the fact that she hasn't given a shit about where I live until now. The Tory has been campaigning on every issue we care about locally, non-stop. He's worth his vote. He does a job.

Meanwhile, Brown has proven himself to be a adept at dithering and ineptitude while Labour start to resemble the Tories under Major.

Housing, the economy, education, health, defense, foreign policy...name something that Labour is actually doing successfully at the moment?

I'm disgusted with them. Come the national election, I really think I'll not bother.

I like the way you seem to know how Boris Johnson thinks. I can imagine him talking to his campaign's team.

"Campaign's team, I'm thinking of becoming a cosmonaut for the Russian Space Agency. What do you mean I don't speak Russian, have the necessary training nor the physical competence to do it. I'm part of the public school mafia, I'm qualified. Get my old headteacher to speak to Putin, I'm sure he'll put in a good word."

How about you hold an opinion on the London elections based on something more than Boris's public image or your class prejudice.

Even though the "joke" is older than Dean Windass and lamer than Elvis Hammond?

Meanwhile, those who think the Tories represent some form of alternative should read this and wonder if, despite Cameron's spin and superficial charm, the nasty party remains lying in wait to wreak havoc on workers.

So, all this knowledge and political stuff must kick in once your 18 then? :dunno::ermm:

That's right and kicks out again when you become an MP representing a political party.

I've got crippling debt. I wish the government would bail me out.

I might change my name to BANK, that would probably help.

Just make sure the total debt is really outrageous though! :giggle:

Thanks for the football references, I wouldn't have understood otherwise.

I don't know how you can blame the fact that teachers are striking in the West Midlands (see link) on the tories. :dunno:

I'm not sure you shouldn't "declare an interest" on this one. :D

Cameron refusing to admit that crime has dropped by 12% made me smile on TV today.

Even the interviewer Nick Robinson a former young tory chairman was staggered at his dogged refusal to believe the facts :crylaugh:

nick clegg was on 5live this morning and, apparently, he was in some tory group at university and instead of just saying something like 'well you know, people change as they get older' he point blank refused to accept he was ever in any such group saying he 'couldn't remember'

this could be the worst trio of leaders there has ever been.

Do you believe them, then?

So much crime goes unreported it makes the figures a joke.

It would certainly have to be some crime for me to report it.

Unfortunately Police come way down the list of people I'd ever trust and with good reason.

This is the worst period for politics, since I was born, this country has ever known.

Whether I do or not is besides the point.

You can't go around cherry-picking stats when it suits you and not expect to be picked up on it!

This is a 12% drop in crime since last year are you saying it's just dropped because in the last year 12% more crimes have been unreported?

Edit-sorry 12% drop in last three months of last year

If "Disillusion" was a candidate he'd win easily and with cross-Party backing.

I would vote Lib Dem if I thought they would win, but will prob vote Labour just to make sure the Tory's don't get a seat
