Another bizarre Austrian kidnap/imprisonment situation

Austrian 'hid daughter in cellar'

A 73-year-old Austrian is under arrest on suspicion of hiding his daughter in a cellar for 24 years and fathering seven children with her, police say.

[...]

The police issued a statement giving details of the alleged abuses Elisabeth recounted to them.

She said she had been sexually abused by her father since the age of 11.

Josef allegedly lured her into the cellar of their house in Amstetten on 28 August 1984, drugging and handcuffing her before locking her up.

Wow.

There was a similarly weird situation back in 2006 where some woman had been held captive for eight years. This is even more bizarre.

Just seen this on Sky News. Its one of the strangest things I have ever heard, surely his wife must have known something?

She probably didn't know she has a daughter

Congratulations.

Disgusting isn't it  .

What an absolute weirdo. Vile that is.

If only rules could be changed, he deserves to be spat on and hung.

You would have thought so after 24 years of noises from the basement including 7 child births. All the food in the house going missing and the bloke telling her that her daughter had just decided to come back after 24 years. I smell a rat.

You want to see where they have been living, wouldn't put my dog in there for 24 minutes, let alone 24 years.

He looks like the sick sort.

Yeah, something more to come out of this you would think.

So the wife thought that the 11 year child went missing and just never came back, when infact she was in the house cellar.

So she never went into that cellar or heard any noises?

Absolute lies. They both should be hung, if i was that girl i would just go and kill myself now.

And imagine being one of the babies having the same dad as your mum.

I just hope nothing like this is still going on somewhere else in the world.

Yeah but he's 73, he's had is fun. He'll probably only do a small amount of time.

I want see what the incest babies look like.

But the mother was probably in on it too. It's all pretty fcuked up.

Are you the eldest of the seven, then?

An extremely odd case, but I doubt we're done with disgusting incest/hiding/family matters yet. There will be more:

a) because affected people are finding more courage talking about it/doing a coming-out (for whatever reason)

b) because the media are totally hooked on all sorts of spectacular shock stories that sell big-time

We had the Marc Dutroux stories, the serial killers in Britain, that thing on the island of Jersey - sickos will never cease to exist.

The human brain does come up with strange things sometimes.

Plus, aren't we all "sensationalised"? Reading, listening about it, watching TV footage, talking about it in private and in public.

Bring back corporal punishment and kill the cvnt.,

Fcuk the liberty brigade.

KILL HIM!

It's a sad day when you can't lock up your OWN daughter in a subterranean dungeon for nearly a quarter of a century and have SEVEN kids with her.

It's political correctness gone mad. The nanny state sticks its nose in where it's not wanted AGAIN
