Simi Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Quite fancy Croatia to be honest. A very solid outfit, although we were dire against them, the amount of chances they created against us was very worrying. With players like Modric and Corluka, I reckon they'll be a big threat. Fantastic up and coming manager as well in Bilic, who will no doubt find his way to the Premiership sooner rather than later. Looking forward to watching teams like Holland and Spain as well, seem to always play some attacking football, with us not being in it. We'll probably be able to take a lot more in than usual.

But, Spain are much like England, so much expectation but always fail. Personally, I think Russia will win it. I've had a £10 on it at 33/1. Come on Russia!

The favorites for me are Portugal, there's only Czech Republic that will trouble them in that group. Croatia are the dark horses. I will be supporting Switzerland as I drew them in the sweepstake at work today !

If you created a poll on which country would definitely miss out on the trophy, I'd say Team Switzerland.
