Father Ted Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 He can fcuk right off. We don't need a t*at with attitude problems like that controlling our club.
LeeCovFox Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 He can fcuk right off. We don't need a t*at with attitude problems like that controlling our club. But Milan already controls our club? On a serious note, Ince is pretty well known for his bad attitude. Reading Alex Ferguson's autobiography is an eye opener in that respect. Father Ted....I think I may have just agreed with you.
Benjani Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Milan always get's his man. Martin Allen to return to MK Dons
Father Ted Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 But Milan already controls our club? Sorry I meant managing.
lildave3 Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Yeah but if we didn't approach him we'd get accused of being racist. Because that's the reason he didn't get the Sunderland job/manager of the year.
Linekars Love Child Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 lets wake up here ince is not coming here! why would he want to come to us when all we do is constantly sack managers? he is on blackburns shortlist anyways and it wouldnt surprise me if he went there because he is a class manager. To be honest i think he is too gud a manager to come us and get sacked within a couple of months!!! good on us tho looking to appoint a black manager!
Tilley Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Yeah but if we didn't approach him we'd get accused of being racist.Because that's the reason he didn't get the Sunderland job/manager of the year.
Maybes Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 We only approached them? Surely they can reject the approach?
Babylon Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 InceGrayson Davies Gregory Royle If we are approaching clubs, there is absolutely no way Gregory will even be under consideration. Ince is exactly what we need, someone who commands respect instantly. For too long we have had managers who want to be friends with player, managers who don't have the players respect. That said I don't think he will come here, the media hype about all the managers we've had has put pay to that. Even though only one of the sackings is even questionable.
Scow Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Ince would be mad to take the job. Why would he swap a club on the up, with financial backing, stability and job security for one with a club in disarray, a mad chairman and little job security? Just think back to Ferguson's comments about the job last week. We have to be realistic about this - the deciding factor would probably be money, but can we really offer that much more than MK Dons? Even if we did, why would Ince risk his managerial reputation by working with Mandaric? It would be a huge surprise if Mandaric can pull this off.
Babylon Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 We only approached them? Surely they can reject the approach? They could do that without waiting to speak to Ince. The articles people have linked point towards him rejecting the other jobs rather than MK Dons standing in his way.
CKB Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 If we are approaching clubs, there is absolutely no way Gregory will even be under consideration. So do you think one of them will come off then?
maddog Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 MK Dons were playing some great stuff last year, we are more likely to go up than them. Ince is working his way up the ladder nicely. First Macclesfield, Dons, now hopefully us. Lets hope he takes us to the Prem first before he leaves for Man Utd . We have the Prem stadium/fanbase/training/more money to spend etc. We have Premiership potential in the next 5 seasons or so, i believe anyway, which i don't think Mk Dons have not disrespect to them. All the Dons have done is get promoted from League 2, which is a great achievement, but its not that unbelieveable. i don't believe they will go up again, the bookies have offered shitty odds on them certainly, like they do with everything. Come on Incey
Babylon Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 lets wake up here ince is not coming here! You don't know that why would he want to come to us when all we do is constantly sack managers? Kelly, Allen and Holloway were sacked.... only one is questionable. he is on blackburns shortlist anyways How do you know that? To be honest i think he is too gud a manager to come us and get sacked within a couple of months!!! If he is doing well why would he get sacked? Holloway only went because he got us relegated!! And Allen was obviously a nut job. good on us tho looking to appoint a black manager! What has that got to do with anything?
Babylon Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 So do you think one of them will come off then? There are other decent managers in jobs. The only question was MM paying a fee for a manager... it looks like he will, so Gregory is a non starter.
maddog Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Theres no way a team like Blackburn, UEFA cup side would suddenly pluck for Ince now i don't think. They are more likely to go for an already successful manager in Prem/Europe, Allardyce. Blackburn are more likely to go for Davies, a highly succesful manager in the Championship than Ince who hasn't managed at that level yet.
Unabomber Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I just hope he is drunk or stoned when we ask him and he ultimately says yes. (and no i'm not being racist in relation to the marijuana) But surely he won't be coming
Benjani Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I like that MK dons chairman. He was nice when he let Allen go aswell. Saying he won't stand in his way. I think really a compensation package could definitely be agreed with our chairman, so it's down to Ince to accept or decline.
CKB Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 There are other decent managers in jobs. The only question was MM paying a fee for a manager... it looks like he will, so Gregory is a non starter. Well my friend if Gregory does get appointed i may well kill you!
Scow Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Mandaric has talked about appointing someone with a 'winning mentality' - so as Babylon says, Gregory's not in the frame.
DanTheFox07 Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 The news that i have been waiting for the only manager apart from grayson who will do for us im afraid! I think money talks in this situation! we are a far bigger club than mk dons no disrespect to them but thats the way it is! Im pretty sure ince will see what mandaric has to say, I also agree with what other people hav said about blackburn job and that is a job a it ahead of his managerial career in my opinion.
CKB Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 Mandaric has talked about appointing someone with a 'winning mentality' - so as Babylon says, Gregory's not in the frame. And i will kill you aswell!
