smokey Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Haha. Leeds had the biggest attendance for the trophy (excluding the final) with 18,000!Can we beat that? EEERRRRR........NO!!
Alexikokopops Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 South East? Fantastic. Shortish trips for me then.
Daggers Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 I think there is a rule saying you cannot do that. I'm not sure but think the rule is something like you must play atleast 7 of your most played players during your league games. They'd have had fun with that ruling if we were involved last season ah? What with us using 40 odd players (Or whatever the figure was) in total over the season. Rule 7.3 Each Club shall play its full available strength in all matches. The Board will from time to time issue a policy as to what constitutes ‘full available strength’. Any Club failing to meet this requirement will be required to pay a fine of up to £5,000. Source I say field the Academy, pay the £5,000 per match and tell the League to **** their tin-pot trophy up their arse. This is so far from being a priority it is unreal. Screw the JPT.
Lovejoy Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Fcuk this I've been getting abused by Championship and Premiership supporting mates. Let's win the forking JPT this year. So what if its a mickey mouse trophy, it'll show we mean business. I'm sick and tired of being taken the piss out of!!!
demon_dog Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 Am I stupid or what? I've heard of Dulux, Crown, ICI,B & Q, International, Focus, whatever.......... Never heard of Johnson Paints. What do they do? Don't tell me! Make paint.
Floating Fox Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 I hope we get Barnet away and loose. It'd be so embarrasing being in the final, and it'd be at wembley to make things worse

It's a bull shit rule they wont enforce anyway.

Don't tell me! Make paint. Johnstones are a trade brand (ie used mostly by professionals). I don't use it personally as the merchants I use don't sell it.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 Johnstones are a trade brand (ie used mostly by professionals). I don't use it personally as the merchants I use don't sell it. What brand would you use if you wanted to paint the town red?
Webbo Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 What brand would you use if you wanted to paint the town red? Hmmm. What shade of red?
Guest Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 Hmmm. What shade of red? I want that roasted red in my kitchen, however the other half disagrees.
Webbo Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 I want that roasted red in my kitchen, however the other half disagrees. I think your other half has a point.
Guest Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 I think your other half has a point. He has no taste or sense of design.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 He has no taste or sense of design. Likes bitter - Likes cheese & onions cobs - Likes a good moan - He's coming up impeccable on my tastemeter.
Guest Posted 28 June 2008 Posted 28 June 2008 Likes bitter - Likes cheese & onions cobs - Likes a good moan - He's coming up impeccable on my tastemeter. Just wait until you have seen him singing "The Frog Chorus". That tastemeter will drop quicker than City's form.

Same here, A person I work with - a sprayer - He got an empty paint tin for me and wrote "Leicester City - Johnstone's Paint Trophey" (Yes he did spell it as Trophey) So i've kept it up, not gave in to biting back, and hopefully we will win it, It will be harder to win than people think though - Like League One.
Fatbloke Posted 29 June 2008 Posted 29 June 2008 IF we don`t get a bye we`ll play our first JP game on September 3rd.
